You have to realise that the only way this reward would be useful is if you finish this BEFORE world eight. Otherwise...where are you going to need this for? Really? Sense of accomplishment? Wasn't worth it in LoZ: OoT nor is it here. Both scenarios. The reward would be useful if you could have them EARLIER. Now if there was a New Game + and you could keep the infinite 3d bar during that...

The problem is you, mainly, to put it nicely (it's not knocking you at all, that's what the problem is.) My brother got there with 80, and never actually went below 30. He was able to sustain himself solely with recovery found by defeating Pit enemies.

The areas are timed, but they give you five full minutes for each area. Pick your shots better and take your time, you'll be fine. :)
