I just hope it isn't a dime a dozen 3rd person shooter. I think personally a platformer/action game would be good. None of your shots would kill perse, you would just disarm or disable oponets and mostly get by with martial arts and acrobatics.

The worst case scenario would be a run and gun kill everything on the screen game.

I've thought about it a lot, and I personally don't think that they could make a game of Trigun thats really good. The Anime is, I would say, the best ever created, which is why I think that any game wouldn't be able to live up to the standareds. Granted, if ever they figure it out a good game formula for this game, I'd be sure to get it.

Sega does not suck, Sega have been in what we call the "screw you" phase at the moment. but then again, that's because the Sega fans have been in the screw you phase ever since the dreamcast flopped. give them some space. appreciate them for what they are now and what they were back in the day, and watch magic appear. NiGHTS Journey of Dreams is proof for that and Sonic Unleashed is so far looking to continue that streak of purely magical games.

Even more now, with all the online capabilities of the 360, a online Trigun game would be easy, sell good (not in the Sega fashion I see, since the numbers for the Sonic games are horrible) and is what a lot of fans are waiting for. This game was planned to the PS2, I agree, back then online features wasn't really important, no one would buy this game since only a few people had the online thing for the PS2, but now a online Trigun game would be awesome, I really don't think Sega has plans for this one. And I said X360 (Bungie's from the Halo series) because it's from the three consoles we have, the 360 is the best bet, since it sells more and have a better online experience. But yeah, Rare FTW.

I was just thinking about that actually... An RPG style game would've been ok, but by following along with Vash's pacifism, any FPS type action would utterly blow. I mean, you'd get no headshots... That is, unless they'd make it a kind of strategy shooter (if there is such a thing?) where you'd have to outsmart and defeat your opponents by using not only your gun, but other objects in the environment around you, or something like that. *shrug*
