Good for them! I'm a conductor and I really applaud this kind of work :-) (I've sung a lot in chamber choruses, where we do the same thing, breathing together and all that, so I know how it goes.)
I am saddened, twice today I selected the "thumbs down" instead of "reply". I am most disappointed there seems to be no way to undo it. Both times it was very wonderful music. I was looking away when I clicked.
What a brilliant ensemble! Thank you so much for posting their videos on YouTube! Would that be too much trouble to put all their videos together in a sinlge PlayList so that they could be enjoyed un-interrupted? That would be much appreciated! :)
There are two reasons they move that much.. First they move that much because in an ensemble like that with no conductor they need to communicate with each other(tempo, phrasing, etc.) so they do so with body language. The second reason is they are just that into the music.. =)
woo they do move a lot, don't they? lol, it's fine...it obviously didn't hinder their ability to make beautiful music. I can only move a little bit when I play, or it gets in the way...I'm not as talented as them... XD great job guys!
It's interesting to see the musicians moving their bodies in accord with the music. Is this the new fashion? I have seen this in some of the other new groups as well. It is said that Pagannini played this way. I don't know about Corelli. Any thoughts on this?
May someone private message me on some composers that have generated darker pieces, such as,'jedi mind tricks- Animal rap remix instrumental". The song i stated is on YouTube. Im not generally into All this elateful music, As i am not gothic, I just prefer different taste. PS if you could also find a piece in a rap video, that would be great. I am not talking about 50 cent, or Kanye West, there not even considered rap artists by me, and many others alike.
I prefer Corelli's music not as Vivaldi's music. When I hear his beautiful compositions I feel I can forgive all the world, and one word appear from my mouth: peace.
It's true that there isn't a significant amount of variety in his music. This is largely in part because he was attempting to establish a form, and few of his compositions survive. But Corelli's music was revolutionary. He was one of the few composers of the Baroque to remain popular after his death, and he was also universally admired and held in the highest esteem by many even to the end of the 18th century. His influence on Handel was monumental as well.
excellent, the fisical movements are a llittle exagerated.. and it is a pity the Metalic strings... it suond really metalic...
Also two much vibrato specially in teh chelo, because that helps not to the tuning....

Corelli is incredible, he needs more coverage in popular culture! I only wish he'd written more, he had such a beautiful melodic sense!

i accord with you but look the concerts of corelli is always the same thing.
look his concerts are very similar and this concert isn't a exception.

It's cool because you can see the chemistry between them...it's as if the instruments are singing themselves!
