Frankly, being from perth i went back after 4 years of not being there and it lacked one thing - a sense of purpose. It's got scenery, it's got nice people, but it isn't moving forward at the same pace as everywhere else, and it deserves to.

Mate, even Beijing or Shanghai got more happening places and fun pubs then silly Perth, you will be driving at 40km or 50km along some main streets, it is just so slow pace and stupid as a whole package, great for retirees or folks on sickness benefits. After 6pm, nothing opens. Boring, boring, boring.

It's a great place I guess if it's for retirement or somebody like no adventures in life at all. There is no soul in Perth. One other thing, too many of those little flies as well.
