  • Nice video....

  • __ w w w diymagneticmotor. com wonder if anyone tryed this? hmm.....

  • the HELL is waiting for U

  • Jesus man it reaches an equilibrium state every time. Your hand motion is required first however. It's a bit like a spring uncoiling.

  • that green guy motor they hada on project camelot this guy named green showed a motor look just like that

  • w w w diymagneticmotor com for FREE energy, anyone has tried it?

  • i have seen a few spin an axle... but never spin anything mounted on the axle..

look at the coke can motor and you will see what i mean.

but it obviously isnt going to power anything any time soon

  • It's responding to the music. :D

  • So many people lose money and are conned by the thought of "free" energy.

You are adding kinetic energy when you move the matchbox. Keep the matchbox still and let's see it! It doesn't work then of course.

  • @sorova Do you think gravity is a con too? Don't be so quick to dismiss things that you can't fully understand. Perpetual motion and free energy may be as simple as turning water into hydrogen.

  • @MusicTewns Yeh right it is! Have you studied any engineering or science at all or are you just kidding yourself?

  • @MusicTewns

turning water into hydrogen requires energy too, energy cannot be destroyed or created, it can only be transferred there is masses of proof for this theory in thermodynamics. Soroca is right, the energy is coming from him moving the matchbox, which comes from the food he eats which comes from the animals or plants which comes from the sun and on and on it goes

  • @animesis I'm just saying. A few hundred years ago we believed we could fall off the Earth, it never hurts to challenge the masses. And I was talking about the chemical reaction between zinc and water to produce hydrogen gas which runs cars quite nicely. Besides, even if we never find a way for perpetual motion to exist, we may stumble upon another renewable source of energy trying to find it that is far more efficient and doesn't cost a lot. Take anything but gas for example. Anything.

  • @MusicTewns

Westerners didnt believe we could fall off the Earth ;) Much of the hype about we thought the Earth was flat is in fact false, old maps prove this!

The energy used here is in creating Zine predominantly, which then turns to Zinc oxide presumably and has to be reconverted back into Zinc

The best source of energy it would seem is nuclear Fusion (that of the sun) the UK hopes to have a commercial reactor up in twenty years- been experimenting for over 50 -cheap, safe, clean

  • you cant get something from nothing!!!!!!!!

there is no such thing as a perpetual motion machine!

  • @CineBoxStudio i agree. However, getting motion from a dead stop using magnets isn't getting something from nothing. You are utilizing the magnetic energy to push or rotate the object in question. a simple example would be to take a magnet. Take another magnet. put one on a table. Take the other and move it closer to the first one. Be it that it moves away or get's closer, you are getting motion from a dead stop. According to you, what i just described is physically impossible :)

  • @R4nd0m3p1cn3ss

hmm, i guess you are right, what i ment was, you couldn't have gotten any more energy out of it as you put in, so it wouldn't work as an energy source, merely as a toy that APPEARS to to do so.

  • I will try

  • This is a great concept. I wonder if it could be made like a wankel engine to keep the wobble and thus keep the spin? :)

  • great

  • you can see in this video that when you spin an N real fast, it looks like a S.

    ...or something like that.

  • Hi Is N magnet axially magnetised and are the S magnets magnetised through their thickness (as per your labels)?

  • SOOOO FAKE

  • Use shaft to hold the thing in middle.

While it's horizontal experiment in this video, try do it vertical. Again, use shaft or axis to hold the middle part.

Build a construction with an arm at the other end of the shaft, and use it to lift somthing with proper weight. Or this goes for nothing.

  • that the green guy motor

  • HOW DO MAGNETS WORK!?!!?

    "never a miss communication..."

  • ive been working on an electromagnetic motor using only a renewable energy source...a magnet...and the only problem i have been having is stopping the rotation of the magnet ive tried reversing polarities but if i do it the metal can never hold up to the drastic change in direction

  • excuse me ,,,

i need some instructions ,.,, to do that ..

that was a difficult experiment..cause in here ,there is no magnet shop ...

    can you help me ?

  • what's the song in the backgroud?

  • @projectzero3able i think its 1973 by james blunt

  • Is a cool idea, there are things in nature that move, this could be a way to harvest earths natural energy.

  • can you explain the physics of it ? , I can make it at a larger and more stable scale wit neofyum magnets

  • Comment removed

  • george green motor, your making it sping by dragging it..... try holding a magnet over top and doing the same thing :D

  • Hah, very cool even if it is powered by your hand.

  • Has anybody tried this with the center magnet fixed on a shaft with bearings....or a few magnets spaced along a shaft with bearings and multiple rings spaced with the magnet gap in stepped positions

  • now youre thinking..but, its gonna have to be as large as manhattan to give off enough power to light 2 bulbs

  • is that made from a hollowed out cheese wheel?

  • YES MATE YOU GOT THAT FROM GEORGE GREEN

  • try putting the center magnet in something like a bowl? just a thought

  • @lavernedi

im sure that many hundreds if not thousands or millions of people have read that site, so why has it not taken over...?

  • Ever notice that the rotor in these "motors" is never connected to an axle? This is because it won't work mounted on an axle. The magnets do NOTHING but hold the rotor upright. By moving the hand-held part sideways, you cause the part or the rotor which touches the table to spin along the tabletop. It just naturally starts rolling sideways so to speak. The magnets only act as an invisible string holding the rotor in place. The human is power source! I can't believe some people don't see this!

  • @DoofNoofem save ur breath. some people here will never understand that energy cant be created

  • @DoofNoofem yer i know what you mean. lol, i think alot of people get carried away and dont think about things.

  • @DoofNoofem i totaly agree with you i did some test and i mounted the magnet on an axel and it do nothing .. it work on the table because it is a bit of set and will always fall lol so you have to follow the magnet with the ring ... so no it does not work and you are totaly wright

  • è solo un vettore di energia ma non ne produce

  • um ur playing the same song in everyione of your videos. SHUT THE FUCKING SONG OFF

  • what did you put in the 3 boxes? XD

  • I didnt believe in Free Energi until i saw the Shah of Iran's Speech about Oil, and the fact that we shouldnt use oil as a source of energi. He used to say that oil was to preshes to be used as energi. He knew very well about Free energi, but Because of Blady Polotics he couldnt talk about it. Research and you will find out that Chek's had invented a free Energi motor in the 50's and 60's....!!??

  • the top is just a low friction bearing.

  • i think magnetism is the way to go for efficient and permanent power supplies

  • Obvious conversion of linear hand motion intorotary motion by seeking the centre of the spinning top.

    Just like rebelforgod posted.

  • easy way to sell magnets is to make a spoof.

  • Spinning cylinders usally spin in the direction they are falling, exactly like this. In the 70s this would be claimed as a telekinesis demo! LOL

  • for gods sake its moving in a direction very slowly causing it to spin

  • I saw an indian dude doing something very similar- he tried to get the rotor stationary but couldn't, but I did duplicate your results here. Quite impressive, and definitely worth working out a way to transfer energy electrically.

  • With tests like these, you would certainly think that motors have been developed.

It's a shame that the society we live in is driven to succeed in an unequaled fashion.

  • i on the other hand thought it was interesting

  • sthupid fake

  • awesome man, this video tells the basic concept of magnetic in a very practical way, bravo.

  • @ greenlivingitup . com it shows how to build a free energy device with magnets

government is good at one thing; it knows how to break your legs, hand you a crutch, and say " See, if it weren't for government you wouldn't be able to walk."

  • @DieTheDeath whore

  • It's converting translational motion into rotational motion. Nothing terribly spooky going on here, but looks really cool

Fun physics demo. I'll remember this if I ever go into teaching physics.

  • Has anyone here ever heard of Maxwell's Demon? Its an interesting theory, it states hypothesizes that the second law of thermodynamics isn't a certainty, but a very likely likely-hood. Personally, I don't hold any unswayable belief in scientific discoveries, just look at all of the past "truths" that have been shot down with the invention of new technology. Maybe we can't build a perpetual motion machine, but we'll never know until we have tried all possibilities.

  • Whip. Exactly. I have had at least a dozen young inventors from 14 to 16 years old show up on my channel message board. How cool to see them interested in these things instead of video games. A few have had some really thoughtful ideas that I will try helping them with. If science and physics was so precise we might know a little bit more about magnetism and what it might really be able to do for us. You never know, maybe even a 14 year old might stumble onto something others are missing.

    John

  • is someone under table !!! fuck you !

  • Don't get discouraged by them. They just don't look past their nose some times. It's an interesting effect. Maybe you need to explain on the video with big red letters that this is a magnetic demonstration and not a claim to a self running magnetic motor. I understand that the outside field pieces are moving slightly to cause a spinning reaction on the rotor magnet.

    John

  • DadHav, correct! People should never get discouraged by the laws of thermodynamics. They should build even more unworkable perpetua mobile. This way, we will never run out of videos about all these failed attempts and we can enjoy the results of millions of wasted work-hours.

    (\_/)

    0_o

  • Brain. This man does not claim to have a device working outside the realm of thermodynamics. He does not claim perpetual motion. You probably can't wait to get your therapy lesson over so you can hurry home to the computer and be rude to people. You said you enjoy watching people wasting their time. That's sick. Your hobby is sick. Your profile shows you need mental adjustment. You should be blocked from any channel you show up on immediately. I hope this person will block you.

    J

  • DadHav, I didn't insinuate the author of this video a overunity claim. It's your damaged brain, that planted that statement on me. And obviously, you forgot to take your medication. Otherwise, you could recognize the acrid sarcasm.

    ^_^

  • Anyone with a brain would realize that everything is made from nothing but Electrical raw energy. Why? Because everything is made from Neutrons and electrons. This is not fake but is an inproper setup. Pretty much it's a combination of the magnetic forces and the tables friction.

  • this is so trivial.. You are inputting energy into the magnet spinner because you are pushing the circular bank of magnets which push on the spinner. The spinner is spinning sheerly due to friction on the table gripping a point on the spinner.

Try this same experiment in a bath of water. Float the spinner in the bath, then use the circular magnet bank in the same fashion. The spinner wont spin the same as you see here.

  • A Trillion years ( 1,000,000,000,000 ) ago there was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. 15 billion years ago this energetic universe with all it's energy supposedly appeared. So science says "energy WAS created out of nothing". If it could happen then WHY NOT NOW?

    Just asking.

  • @kdc43 uh...no, not at all. The big bang was not a CREATION of energy, it was a conversion of an extremely dense packet of energy into matter and energy. science says nothing of the sort that you claim. Besides, NASA's Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) project estimates the age of the universe to be 1.373±0.012×1010 years (13.73 billion years old, with an uncertainty of 120 million years). That's not even close to a trillion years ago.

Sorry, but it doesn't work like that.

  • @B44rules I did not say the universe was a trillion years old. Just yesterday I reading material from Hawking that the "Big Bang" came from NOTHING. Energy was created, condensed into the elementary particles to hydrogen and space-time expanded (theory). That's Hawking. If you're right then where did this "extremely dense packet of energy" come from???????????????????????????

  • @kdc43 Presumably this energy packet was left over from the last Big Crunch.

  • @B44rules glib "convenient answer", which is no answer. I watch Cosmos and Nova and no answer from those shows either.

  • @kdc43 There's a pretty clear answer from Nova: The physical state of the universe operates in a cycle of expansion and collapse. The end result of a collapse is a packet of matter so dense that quarks fracture and a clump of energy is created. This energy is unstable, and the eventual result is a Big Bang, when all of the released energy condenses into matter.

  • @B44rules Yeah, I'm no Physicist, but I gotta say Nassim Haramine has the most profound Unified Field Theory.

  • @MONSQUEEKY What i have learned about Nassim H. is that he is a very intellegent man. I think that some people were choiced to sell an idea to people about 2012, and some of thoes people got wise ................

well this is what i think, you research and see what you get out of it all :-)

  • @kdc43

whats outside the universe? what happens in the centre of a black hole? we dont know clearly as of yet, because outside the universe the rules of science may differ, but we know so far that in our universe time and time again science has proven to us that free energy and creating it is impossible, and unfortunately we are stuck in that universe

  • agree with scepticZ: magnet stoped rotating @ 0:34 - like the other magnets lose their abilities - or ehough time 2 free one hand and turn off camera. (this is just a theory though, but i really mean that this is fake). Proof us scepticZ wrong. GreetingZ

  • Open your eyes.

  • @Larskro still... where is the motor dude?? ...

  • the spinning inner magnet ITSELF is the motor

  • @Uberlaser jajajaja... you have to see more videos..

  • @Uberlaser - I saw an indian dude doing something very similar- he tried to get the rotor stationary but couldn't, but I did duplicate your results here. Quite impressive, and definitely worth working out a way to transfer energy electrically.

  • *HE* did duplicate your results here. Not me...*the indian guy*

  • @Uberlaser i added that rating back in thumbs up. your welcome larskro.

  • @Uberlaser Hey, you're awesome :D You found out that the magnetic motor works with magnets... Cool

  • Hi, Nothing under the table. Cant you see that the gate magnets are moving over the table by my hand. This rotate the spinner.

  • @Larskro so if there is no magnet you build a wankler motor go ahead and take your nobel price!

  • @Larskro make the North magnet in the center not flat. make spiral stairs of magnets on it.

  • @jokerfacehro

    excuse me ,,,

i need some instructions ,.,, to do that ..

that was a difficult experiment..cause in here ,there is no magnet shop ...

    can you help me ?

  • fakeeeeeeeeeee

  • It spins because under the table is another magnet spinning. It couldn't be spinning oterwise

because it will be attracted to either one side or anther and just stick to it. mh mh

  • yes,

here is a better one, similar to that shown here, harder to debunk. what do you say to it?

    watch?v=hkgyY47duCM

  • Well I say that. With the movement of the magnet inside of the box. It just transfer the energy. You stop moving the magnet and it stop spinning.

    It's that simple.

Magnets for itself does not produces energy it just transfer it

  • Yes, you are right.

  • indeed, but the point is here, sherlock, that the magnets CREATE movement like wind and water, and if you build this on a generator, it creates movement, and the generator will produce power...

  • Why would that one be harder to debunk? actually this one is more impressive. The reason the other one works is because the guy holding the ring of magnets is constantly moving them with his hand. At least this one is held not by a hand but by matchboxes. (if U watch closely though U can see that he Keeps nudging the boxes though....so no free energy here either)

  • no,

it spins because it can move sideways. look it up, its known as george green's device.

  • have you actually tried this? A guy demonstrated it live at many lectures and it does spin the magnet, it's just not as strong as many people suggest..

  • Its spins because its attracted to one side, the only way to keep it spinning is to keep moving the large magnet by hand, if you were to put a shaft on it joining the two in the center it would not spin on its own.

  • if we had the moons gravity could there be perpetual motion

  • whats the point it's simple the force you took to move the magnets is the force it uses to spin

  • edison never gave up either

  • @EarthsGravitySucks

    Edison wasn't against simple physics.

  • hahahahaaaaa wyciągnij magnez z pod stołu kręcony silnikiem co za koleś szkoda miejsca na tubie przez takich jak ty wstydze się małpy że jestem człowiekiem

  • Yes, thanks for the honest effort.

  • you beat me to the idea.

  • IT WORKS!

but the explanation is simple: THE BALL DOES NOT SPIN, IT ROLLS!

    1) the "rotor" is attracted towards one side of the "stator"

    2) the placement of magnets both in stator and rotor does not allow the rotor fall on side.

    3) a small angle of the axes of the rotor is enough for the ball to start rolling towards opposite poles in stator. but because the angle is small it looks like just spinning.

  • This might work if you had a shaft and then had a gear on it which then turned the off center magnet.

If you leek at how it runs the magnet is always spinning around the center and not in the center.

  • parabens, este é o principio do motor magnético, excelent.

  • it's a magnetic top. not a motor at all.

  • Nice, clean demonstration proving that motion of the ring (i.e. energy input) is required to spin the center magnet. Thank you for posting.

  • Rise and shine Mr. Freeman :) good work !

  • Seems like a rod or some item in the center would force the magnet to move around it, relieving the need to move the setup. On the other hand, that might prevent the center magnet from getting enough force in any direction to work properly. Curious idea, though.

  • what if the center magnet was on a shaft and able to spin?

  • lol so lame

And your taste in music is terrible

  • The rotational momentum comes from the slightly tilted rotor seeking the center, and having to spin in order for the base to re-right itself under the center of the magnetic field.

This is a magic trick to make people think the spin momentum derives energy from something other than that energy put into moving the external structure.

This is a con man's trick.

  • Comment removed

  • Spot ON! That's exactly what's going on.

Now something to strive for to make this work is finding a way to keep the magnetic ring that is being held up in a constant state of imbalance, no matter how slight. Then no matter how much the spinning magnet moves, it won't be able to find the center, thus moving perpetually (or almost perpetually to an extent).

But I have no idea how this could be possible. Any ideas?

  • some how a magnet thats magnetic field spins inside of the magnet itself

  • is useless if you have to move the structure to the left in order to make the disc spin . It's just energy exchange. It would make a fun toy.

  • yes you can see by the little smudges/dots on the paper or table, that he is moving the structure or table and the magnet on a point wants to stay within the field, so it spinns on the point as it can easily do hence it rotates, :)

  • mmm he moves all the structure is normal that rotetes

  • Now take your hand away from the external magnet and see what happens? It will stop eventually. You are supplying kinetic energy by moving the other magnet with your hand.

  • Anyone who believes magnetism as magic, and perplexed as to how. And none to research and discover, are one hundred percent COMPLETELY DISCREDITED.

  • Comment removed

  • it's bay blacdes!!!

  • i think sypher might be right, not really free energy...

  • your missunderstanding the point....its called energy on demand...no fuel, just a little brain power...it is the future of home based power for everyday use....if you can visualize Eternal Dynamics, then this process at a larger scale can make all electricity dependant machines work without starting with fuel, and then replacing anything that needs a hydro based fuel with water...and then you complete the circle of energy....free is the best word I can think of.... no triangles here.

  • Bravo!

  • Where does the energy come from?

  • jet fuel :P

  • ummm.... his hand moving it?

  • that was a reply to someone else...

  • A hand crank would also be "free energy". Not to mention the free exercise and weight loss ;-)

  • Not really, you are spending energy from your body to then turn a crank. However it is free to use it because you not paying money.

  • Exactly. Hence "free" energy ;-)

  • well, that's fake xD

  • i have AC permanent magnets

it powers my whole house with electricity

i sell them only to you because your my friend.

you can pay 1500 Dollar to me and i will send them to you for free!

(you dont need to give you adres)

  • sounds promising

just like the other free engery devices

  • FAKE YOU MOVED IT FROM BOTTOM OF TABLE

  • I have a pair of neodymium magnets that will stick to each other both ways. both alike and different poles attract. Does this break laws? Can this device operate through the same principle of altered magnetic fields?

  • Soon as you stop moving the apparatus manually it will stop generating angular momentum, the magnet will slow down and stop due to friction, and when the magnet reaches equilibrium it will be quite happy to remain there until move energy is imparted on the system from the outside.

  • When your video starts the magnet is at equilibrium, meaning it has 0 magnetic potential energy, The only way to change this is by using electromagnets and reversing their polarity, or by imparting energy manually. Like say with your hands and muscles.

All you have done is convert some of your bodies stored energy into angular momentum using electromagnetism to convey the energy.

  • Comment removed

  • perputual motion!

  • It's the friction of the ball on the table that makes it spin.

    Very old trick.

  • Old trick? What are you, a 'debunker'?

This demonstrates that permanent magnets ccould turn a rotor producing electric current. If the implications are not there for you to see, its no wonder you are bitter.

  • "What are you, a 'debunker'?"

Just someone that lives in the real world and is not fooled by a video.

NO, permanent magnets can NOT turn a rotor producing electric current.

    Boy, are you gullible !

  • noimw writes: "NO, permanent magnets can NOT turn a rotor producing electric current.

Boy, are you gullible ! "

And you not only appear to be an Orthodox ignorant.

    Seek: Permanent Magnet Generator

(There are companies that sell them)

Here's some friendly advice; Don't reveal your lack of experience in the world by assuming you know it all and then being arrogant in your mal-assumption.

  • "(There are companies that sell them)"

    Name one !

So, are you stupid enough to buy one ?

Let me know how it works.

  • noimw - Are you actually 62 years old?

You seem about 50 years in advance of yourself. Can you cut and paste? Do so to the quote below to find the source company's website

    Be well

"Windstream offers a selection of Low RPM Permanent Magnet DC generators. We have supplied manufacturers, schools, contractors, science museums, inventors and hobbyists with generators for over 35 years."

  • "This demonstrates that permanent magnets ccould turn a rotor producing electric current."

    Please reread you comment above.

That is a lot different than generators & electric motors that have permanent Magnets.

  • This will help you.

You stated: "NO, permanent magnets can NOT turn a rotor producing electric current."

Please explain the dynamics of the Permanent Magnet Generator

  • A Permanent Magnet Generator can be connected to a electric motor or engine or wind turbine or water wheel to generate electricity. The stator in a car alternator can be fitted with permanent magnets for constant output like for a wind turbine.

It is NOT a magnet motor.

There is no such thing as a magnet motor.

  • noimw - You were right. I was wrong. Forgive me. Thank you.
