I don't think everybody has a clear understanding of what 1080p stands for. FYI 1080p has to do with the resolution of an image, the higher the resolution standing for higher quality. For music we measure bitrate, youtube usualy encodes music at 128kbps or 192kbps. I personally don't like this mix, best mix of levels is by TYR, search it you'll love it :)

Selecting a higher video res mode also has a higher audio bitrate...check out the YouTube page on Wikipedia for more info, if I remember correctly it has a table of YouTube's different video encoding formats.
