Tbh, it could either be the Dillon Aero M134, or the 'minigun' (the name given to it by the original manufacturer General Electric) Both are 7.62mm. the M61 Vulcan is the earlier 20mm design (made by General Electric). the one in the video is too short to be a Vulcan, the Vulcan is 1 metre 82cm long, the M134 is only about 80cm long.

@dill30669 Not really. Sometimes a very basic sight, like a circle and pip to give you a general aim point. Often nothing. We were trained to walk the impacts into the target. At first there are a lot of wasted rounds, but once you get the hang of it you can usually get a 5-10 round burst to go right where you want it.

@sixinthehood I don't like how games portray mounted MG's like this. They always overheat and/or have a lot of jitter to make it hard to aim. In real life these weapons are very easy to aim (that's why they are mounted to a hard surface) and have to fire more rounds than you have onboard before they overheat. The real reason you fire in bursts is because you can chew through your entire magazine in about 60 seconds.

This is an incredible and awesome piece of (retired) machinery... as well as the Apache, AC-130, Harrier and just about every aircraft presented in the game.
