he sounds great!... as people explained it in comments.. graham was known for doing music that was tough to sing.. he didnt often sound overly exceptional live he was more known for doing amazing studio work where he had plenty of time to rest.. but. hey he sounds better then good here

Extreme by nowadays standards. Back then (he was hot 70/80 turn) this was the case - always (Bonnet was on eof the best though). They could all sing - nowadays it is miracle if they can (usually they can not) sing a tune. The problem does not lie within rock - the worst cases are from the pop-scene. But even the 1-hit wonders are poor. Compare Sam Brown - Stop against any Pop 1-hit-Wonder Nowadays. THey really can not match that level.
