  • That's great I'm so happy to hear that now I can have milk on my coffee thanks a bunch!

  • Not only can you not have yogurt, you cannot have fruit. Which strawberry yogurt has. A couple of cups of veggies with your meals would also help. Avoid this video.

  • For a moment i was like great we can eat yogurt i was happy about that but i double check with my book and it says that On phase 1 you can't have yogurt is there a new rule i need to know cause I have the old book? Are thos gummie victamins sugar free?

  • @gnzlzbutterfly The official SBD website says, "Dairy

Choose low-fat dairy products such as 1 percent or fat-free milk, nonfat or low-fat plain yogurt, and fat-free or reduced-fat cheeses. Once you reach Phase 2, you can reintroduce artificially sweetened varieties of low-fat or nonfat flavored yogurt."

  • you seem to think that fiber is only found in carbs. Fiber is found in vegetables too, and the SBD suggests that you have at least 2 cups of veggies per meal. This video is not a true representation of the diet. when done correctly, there is no need for supplemental fiber.

  • please read the book. You are shring wrong information!

  • you cant have fruit in phase one. the best way to follow the south beach diet is to buy the booklet.

  • do you know if i can drin V8 tomato juice in phase 1? thank you :)

  • If you want fiber just make,a breakfast smoothie add a bit of raw oatmeal and flax seeds.. It will literally make u go in like 10min and u wo.t be consuming all that bad sugar

  • you NEED salt!! just watch Dr. Mercola's youtube about it. Make sure the salt is himalayan salt or sea salt.

  • Thank you for making this video

  • Good job ur beautiful and ur husband is a lucky man

  • I can learn this video...thanks you very much

  • LOL I love shrimp and mushrooms but my huibby hates them both.

  • omg that salad looks sooo good

  • I wish people would actually READ the book! Please learn how to learn to cook eggs. Your breakfast was pretty beatdown. Your salad should have had a 1/2 cup of black beans in it. Don't worry about the cheese. Please go back and read the book. Why aren't you having any carbs? Beans are a healthy and acceptable form of carbs and fiber. Cheese sticks and fruit are excellent. You're still taking supplements? I hate diets and will never diet again! Make this your lifestyle and stop dieting.

  • Oatmeal has a lot of fiber and a lot more health benefits! Flax seed is also VERY healthy, high in good fats (omega 3), fiber, and protein and therefore beneficial for one's health.

  • U have to learn how to cook girl!

  • For lunch it would have been better to have some beans instead of the cheese because the beans are lower in fat and have tons of fiber and protien

  • Youre one of the only ones who actually show ur meals. Because its easy to say have meat, nuts, eggs, string cheese but that not giving me any meal ideas considering i use to eatting fast foods etc. thanks for sharing! On on phase one you can have yogurt? I thought we couldnt have anything with sugar in it unlesson it was from low glycemic veggies. Im not even eatting one meal a day because i have no ideas. Mainly eggs at breakfast mayb a salad, nuts an no dinner because the food is boring.

  • Where did you buy thsoe Fiber Gummies?:)

  • @ChroniclesofaFATGIRL I bought them at Publix which is a grocery store. They were in the vitamin aisle.

  • why are u counting calories. Sbd doesnt consist of calorie couting. i thought u just watch sugar/bad carbs. another thing is this ur induction phase(1st 14days) or is this phase after the induction. thanks for the videos

  • @mrzrollins I was counting calories because I read an article online that said no matter what diet you are on you need to still monitor your calories for optimal results. I believe phase 1 is the induction phase and yes this was during my induction phase. I did phase 1 for one month. because i cheated a couple times so i kept having to start my induction phase over.

  • @HealthySlimster WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Misinformation like this is how people obtain and screw of programs. Where are your green vegetables? Why are you downing fibers jellies like candy? Where is your tomato juice? What phase is this? Those gummies are loaded with sugar? Your dinner is dinky and you are so food-obsessed. PLEASE GO BACK AND READ THE DAM BOOK!

  • @MsEtherial I actually agree with you that I should have eaten more vegetables. I just don't like them :( This is what I ate, for a very short period of time just to get fast results. Which I did get. It worked for me. But I agree that it would have been better to have eaten more vegetables and then I wouldn't have had to take fiber in weird forms like gummy bears. To be honest I will not do the south beach diet again. I just had a baby and am now trying to lose the weight by working out.

  • @HealthySlimster You should look into the 80-10-10 diet.

  • @HealthySlimster Phase II is great for general health and losing the weight. :)

  • You are right, I should!

  • By the way I just read some info that would have been helpful a day ago. If you are not already consuming 25 grams of fiber, you want to SLOWLY build up to 25 grams a day, not start consuming 25 grams all of a sudden like I did.

  • loribelt24, that is a good question, i just looked up how much fiber is in a leaf of lettuce and there is 0.1 grams of fiber, the recommended amount of fiber needed in a day is 25 grams.

About the fruit, unfortunately you can not have any fruit in Phase 1. I will, however be able to add certain fruits and carbs back into my diet in Phase 2.

  • bowulf, thanks for the flax meal tip! I am going to try it. Chipotle is the bomb!!

  • doesn't the salad greens give you fiber or is that not enough and can you eat fruit on south beach

  • You might think about adding some flax meal into your diet. If you grind your own, it's a cheap and easy way to add fiber into your lifestyle. I like adding it to my salad as a way to replace the croutons.

Chipotle is a great restaurant no matter what diet you are on.
