Reverse isn't always used usually shorter runways faster landings and bigger airplanes are all elements for a reverse thrust otherwise just the spoilers u won't hear any reverse in a jet under a airbus a-320 don't usually use reverse

I've read post from other locations, like L.A., and San Francisco, and people from those locations tell the section of the town they live in, and no-one criticizes them for this.
