  • Man... I wish I were these people.. I could smoke weed once and every time I wanted to get high I could just think about it and I could never worry about getting busted.

  • I'll remember Luise's figure, that's for sure.

  • wish i had a endless memory like them fuck all the other wishes i made in my life, thats what i was looking for my whole life :P

  • well 2 guyz and 2 girls are singles .... works out perfect ...

  • holy shit .... imagine writing an exam with that brain ...

  • @deadmanavir lol i know man. I was wondering why they weren't holding phenomenal jobs

  • where's the sixth person? or are there only five...?

  • @VanillaBean254 they mentioned her in part 1. they say she's haunted by her memories and didn't want to meet the others.

  • Einstein mostly had no Sylvian Fissure:

"A unique morphological feature is visible in the lateral surface of each hemisphere... the posterior ascending branch of the Sylvian fissure is confluent with the postcentral sulcus. Consequently, there is no parietal operculum (the anterior part of the supramarginal gyrus). ...This morphology found in each of Einstein’s hemispheres was not seen in any... specimen documented in the published collections of post-mortem brains." You do have a valid hypothesis considering that the basis of OCD has to do with an inefficient caudate nucleus disallowing proper gating to the thalamus. Seeing these people have a caudate that that is 7-8 SDs above the normal could make their "disorder" similar to the neurobiology of OCD. Good correlation brother.

  • @StinkadoodlePie

Sorry, I meant to direct that towards you.

  • I hope this story leads to another dozen test subjects coming out of the woodwork.

  • I'd like to know how this ability affects intelligence, learning, and competency?

  • I forgot what I wanted to write.

  • Do you think perhaps its related to OCD because their OCD makes these people more emotional about every day events?

They say you tend to remember emotional events, and OCD certainly makes you feel emotional and anxious about things.

  • endless memory?

    instinct for animals?

connection with the spiritual world as we all used to have?

yes, some of us have that connection, connection to the endless intelligence which is nothing more or less but God the Creator

it's been 11 months for me, check my page stanpiasta com or Google stan piasta alcoholic

  • the next evolution. these people need to have lots of babies!!!!

  • I'm not sure if I would want that ability or not. We all have things happen in our lives that we're glad we can forget (embarrassing and sad moments, etc.), but these people can't forget them and still feel the raw emotions. On the other hand, a great way to blackmail your kids or significant other. So I'm just not certain.

  • @OmegaWolf747 I was thinking along the same line when it occured to me that I already remember all the "embarassing and sad moments" anyways. Don't we all remember things like your first breakup or the death of a loved one? Its the mundane day to day things like what was I doing at work 3 years ago on a given day that I cannot remember. Being able to remember these things when I wanted to recall them would surely be useful.

  • @OmegaWolf747

If you know that God is the Creator, that God is pure Love, you don't do anything to upset God and you want to remember all your good minutes of your life

    Be good!

  • @messengerofjesus But of course. However, bad things still happen to good people, such as the death of a loved one. Surely, one wouldn't wish to remember that with such clarity even 20 years down the road.

  • @messengerofjesus How kind of you to give them permission to have the conditions they were born with. Good thing for them they weren't gay, I'm guessing.

  • I would think that the human brain has a finite amount of space, Meaning the more you have in it the less room available for other things.

  • Excellent question, IMHO. Does Henner remember the lines from every script? Does the ability generalize to make playing the notes to a violin piece easy? How do they approach learning? Is there a photographic component? i.e. do they remember text books they read in high school?

This was the most interesting 60 minutes I can remember. Actually, I can't remember another one...

  • It's disappointing that they didn't discuss the effect of never forgetting when it comes to learning. Do these people remember everything they learned?

I definitely want this!!! But can you imagine having a difficult life and not being able to forget the horrible things that happen to you? It definitely has a downside. But overall, I really want to have this ability.
