if you want a really cool attractive snake, that gets long but not too big, check out the Jungle carpet pythons... These snakes aren't for beginers though, you would have research before getting these. They grow to about 5 1/2 to 8 1/2 ft and are tree climbers (aboreal)...

The females are. They usually are both longer and thicker.

mine probly isnt gonna grow much more hes 4 1/2 feet
