@kostasmaiden13 not really. ALOT of songs by Limp Bizkit don't use delay. actually, the majority of Wes Borland's songs don't use delay at all. Mostly different kinds of reverb. trust me lol, I study Wes more than anyone alive =)

Delay doesnt mean it delays the sound like when you pluck, it takes a while for the amp to sound, it just means it like you said echo yeah. the other guy thought you meant like it made it sound liek your in a big room or like in a cave. echo, meaning it repeats the sound. sorry to confuse you if i did.

delay is a lot like echo, only echo deteriorates the sound a lot quicker. with delay, the sound of what you played is played back a few times with about the same amount of volume each time you hear it.

There are three types of delay : tape, analog and digital. The main reason is in their construction - tape uses tape, digital uses chip. Digital delays have the longest delay time, but their sound is kinda sterile compared to analog, the warmest are tape delays. It is hard to explain, but if you play with all the three types, you will know the difference soon. Some digital delays try to emulate "analog", but it is still not the real thing.

Analog completely changes the properties of the pedal, completely voiding the word delay in the name. Short answer is, no, it can't do this because what you have is actually a slice of cake and not a delay pedal at all.
