I wonder why Regine sings so much of Mariah Carey's songs? I understand that she looks up to her, but I mean so does Beyonce, but you don't see Beyonce singing all of Mariah's songs. Mariah has her own voice, and if you sing one of her songs, then you're always gonna get compared to her, because Mariah set the standard high of what a true artist should be. I think Regine would be good if she wrote her own songs, and created her own masterpieces!

@nassrol Regine does not record any of mariah's songs. Why would she, whe she has great composers who can create song for her to put on an album. She sings maria songs live and she seldom does that. You can't say what only regine does is sing mariah song and get paid for it. You can't find any mariah songs on her album.

@nassrol Mariah songs are tough materials to sing. But mariah can't sing it live the way she sang it on record, recording equipments does alot in making mariah sound good on recording. Regine sings best live! and 10x fold when she records a song. If your a foreigner , you don't hear regine on a daily basis but we do so we know that she's the best.

HERE IS THE TRUTH: Regine's voice when not in high notes are just okay and are similar to other singers quality, nothing great, only when she belts you can say she has a voice but that's it shout-like quality.

Most likely the only woan on earth who can rival Mariah's vocal acrobatics.....but the difference is that where Mariah whispers some of her lines to keep up with the range, Regine belts it out with her chest voice and head tones.....both artists were great........they should be hailed.....one for the West and the other for Asia....

Regine's VOICE is the most TERRIBLE VOICE I've ever heard. Her paralanguage, enunciation, diction is EXTREMELY TERRIBLE. She got a very tiny and sharp voice that's EXTREMELY BLATANT AND BOISTEROUS. Disregard the pitch, she is NOT A GOOD SINGER but she's a GOOD NOISE MAKER. Nothing in her voice that is inviting and delightful to hear... it's disgusting than a SCREAMING CAT or CRYING INFANT.

Lol I love Regine and I do have this video on my iPhone but she did NOT do it as good or better than mariah. I've heard her way better than this. Regine sounds very screamy/shouty here. The songs just don't fit her. Astig parin si regine syempre =p.
