Awesome car man. I have a 78 now. I used to have a 79 formula and had alot of fun with it. My formula used to wheel hop terrible till I put traction bars on it, yours doesn't look like it has them. Must be the better TA suspension.

this requires any kind of special brakes?? just in the front wheels?? or can i just step in the brakes and in the gas at the same time? please someone answer... when i turn 18 in less than a year my dad will give one 1978 Trans Am 6.4L and i wanna do a burnout in front of my friends!!!!

@Brennonicolini it really doesnt require any special brakes, you can just burn the back brakes up REALLY quickly doing burnouts like those. it is easier however if the back brakes are drums. disc brakes can have a good hold and bog it down a little.

yep, unless they have line lock

no because brakes work in a need way stock is a 60% front 40%rear (may and will vary with year and cars but front will always grab first) so you lightly touch the brake only the front will grab =no fucking your back brakes....unless u don't no how 2 do it right.

Back to the 50's is the largest car show in the USA. everything gets crazy, burnouts, cars throwen flames, stuff on the road that only gets driven once a year, this is one of the main cruzen stripps so burnouts are going to happen when there is not enough room to race. so if you show up, strut your stuff
