Going & buying cassette...(I think.: ) Listening pretty much to everything since from this Band that was one of many Bright Spots in 90's music. Rock n Roll was back!! My husband that passed last year, at the young age of 32, this was his favorite group of all time. Of all the songs that speak volumes to me more than I can explain to anyone is this song. Now, whenever I turn the car on, and a Collective song plays, it's like my Ben saying hello to me. For that Collective Soul, I thank you more than you know. Thank you for your sincere words. Ben had excellent taste for many things. From music, clothes, to even food; my lord could that man cook. I was a fan of CS before we met, but more so from a mainstream point of view. When Ben introduced me to more of their music, the songs that don't get the air play, I was astounded.
Respond to this video... I read their lyrics and I was moved. Not only do their lyrics have such depth and meaning, but Roland, we both agreed, has a voice is like liquid butter. Its just so smooth and makes you want to melt. Thank you again for your words, and take care yourself.
I saw collective soul at the Cains ballroom in Tulsa when I was 15. Some chic burned me with her cigarette and felt bad, bought me and my buddy beer for the rest of the night. Still love this band!
My brother got me into this band back in '96. I remember him driving me around and jamming out to their precious declaration album and then then their self titled album. I took a couple cds into my 4th grade class party and rocked everyone out. I guess what i'm trying to say is Collective Soul is the one band i've listened to religiously for the last 14 years. They will always be in my top 5 fav. all time bands regardless of the direction they head. Hangin' Loose from Maine!
Just read that you said this song was blocked worldwide before you disputed it. I have no problem when record companies put copyright tags on videos. The artists deserve recognition for their hard work and dedication, but when a record company puts a worldwide block on a video, all they're doing is hurting sales.
Hey Sean, good to post something new for people.. they are well known in the US and Canada too.. but they are very American.. came out big in the 90's. Their music grows on a person.. its rock but also alternative style. Thanks my friend!

I named a few songs I like of theirs in one of my replies.. but when I think of it there are many more.. like December, The world we know, Sister dont cry, Burning Bridges, Wasting Time.. on and on and on. lol yep as for the music police.. for some reason they dont like people posting Collective Soul songs on yt.. I dont understand this.. its a music site!! and they are so American (never mind copyright!)
