@aronegore You don't need to see mine. You Tube is full of fantastic examples of proper two stroke racing machines. Just type in 500 Gamma or RZ 500 and behold the brilliance that is two stroke technology !

@Ismell2stroke they are fast but 1) they look and sounds terrible 2) they pull wheelies in almost every gear which is terrible for high speeds and road racing 3) the amont of maintainance is ridic because its a 2 stroke the parts wear out faster. IF i wanted an old bike id get a old gsxr 1100 . not some dirty glorified dirtbike

@Ismell2stroke Two stroke engines better?:) Probably thats why all modern racing bikes r 4 strokes:) Two strokes r less efficient because the fuel gets away through the exhaust port in the cylinder.

@Ismell2stroke I'm not trashing your opinion, but comparing a 2-stroke 500cc bike to a 4-stroke 600cc is not quite a fair comparison. I personally prefer 4-stroke bikes, and I'm sure that in a 2-stroke 500cc race class, the 4-stroke 1000cc bikes wouldn't have a problem keeping up; after all, 2-stroke have become all but obsolete since they emit large amounts toxic emissions and they wear out quickly. 4-stroke engines have the lion-share of the research and development devoted to them. Ride safe!

2 Strokes are pretty much extinct, its impossible to find any for street use.

If your an American, then yes, it would have been around 1974 that the RD400 was last,legally imported into your country. However. Two stroke machines were still being manufactured and imported into Canada, Australia,all of Europe and most of Asia, well into the late 90's and into the 2000,s in some countries. Some of the most beautiful bikes ever built never made it into your country.

Sounds like it's wide open. Probably obnoxiously loud too. Sound is not bad and helps drivers hear you from far, but ear plugs are probably a good idea. I like mid volume myself, but it's cool, Cheap too.
