@BrotherTree1 Wrong. It is common for the Vux intruder to appear close to it's opponent at the begining of a battle. That's a feat of the ship. Same goes for Illwrath avenger.

To avoid it you should move, not stay still.

@nikoladd No, not quite my friend. There's an exception when Vux is against the Vindicator. Vux usually does not appear close to the vindicator during battle, only for other smaller minor battle ships. Illwrath is not so much, but same goes for the exception of the Vindicator.

There is no such exception for the flagship. If you stay still with the vindicator chances are the intruder(and avenger) will pop up onto you unless probably if you're facing it.

I have actually played the game with RU's mostly from destroyed VUX ships(i.e. thousands of them), so I do have a lot of statistical data on how this actually works.

Vux aren't my favorite race of the game , but they imho have the funniest dialogue bits before they attack .

I prefer to just use one Spathi eluder (conveniently situated on the surface of Pluto) to commit genocide against any Vux I encounter with the exception of ZEX on Alpha (DAMN IT! I FORGOT THE NAME OF THE STAR! AND LOST THE GAME!). That is fun and gains me resources

I love this part! It's worth all the battling to get to... even though it does kind've effectively crush your hopes that MAYBE they'll stop attacking, and being arseholes. The dialogue in this game is just too good.
