@orgasm111 i have a shengshou 4x4 v3, and before that i had an eastsheen, and compared to the eastsheen, the shengshou is amazing! :D havent tried any other 4x4s though, i heard the dayan +mf8 is really good, if it doesnt pop.

@98MAXO Skip the Lan-Lan and get a ShengShou VIII or an X-Cube, if you have the money. Another good option is the Dayan + Mf8 4x4, but it pops frequently.

I think the best 4x4 is a ShengShou... it's cheap and it doesn't need any lubrication!

I like the mechanism of the LanLan 4x4, but the one I have is WAAAAAAAAY too spinny. I posted an Amazon review referring to it as a perpetual motion machine, because once you spin it it just keeps going, and going, and going... And of course it locks up constantly due to layer misalignments and horrible corner cutting. Not bad for $5 (what I paid), but the price has since gone up to $10 which is unreasonable imo.

@zombieman2122 the algorithm from any side is: F L F U' R U F2 L2 U' L' B D' B' L2 U that will give you a cube in a cube. then bring the two corners together on each of the inside cubes and do the R' D' R D twice and the U' R' D' R D four more times. then realign the cube U R2

ok, that is odd b/c your lan lan is a lot stiffer than mine but then again mine is the white lan lan.. Mine, out of the box, was a lot quicker but after having used it for a couple months its become a little unstable feeling and pops if i don't align it right which is hard to do since the layers seems to just turn themselves. By the way, the ball center makes it so when a piece pops, it will almost never be just a single piece. Still it's a fun cube to have just not if i ever start speed solving
