  • This video was very well done and I thank you for sharing it with the world. I would like to use the link to this video with my new web site make which is designed to help people who have difficulty speaking, improve the ability to talk. My grandfather used to recite this poem at all family gatherings, and it has resonated through my mind, often, year after year. I am sure people with speaking difficulties and their care givers would benefit from it . Mark A. Ittleman

  • Good music.

  • The song in video is "Pavane" by Gabriel Fauré.

  • "If all men can count with you, but none too much"

What does it mean by, but none too much?

  • @brightlights456X This is my interpretation, "Let everyone's opinion have value, but don't give too much weight to any one individual." I want to find people I agree with, but I try not to ignore those with opposite opinions because they could be right. Or wrong...

  • @PeterTravisBooth515

  • YES!!!!! you dont know how long iv been trying find this!!!!!

THANK YOU so much (Y)(Y) !!!!!!!

  • Just learned the piano solo of this piece, "Pavane", by Gabriel Faure. Thank you, for of many things, one of the most beautiful compositions I will ever hear in it's original format, and in addition one of the most brilliant poems written by Rudyard Kipling. I have literally carried a copy of this in my pocket ever since i've heard this reading, and it is the one thing I strive to be, when I do pass away, and truly believe I achieved this, that I could have some, even if altruistic faith.

  • Whenever I ever am in a period of self doubt, or just depression, a lack of drive, a complete absence of the periodic void that frequents us all, I look at this, and it makes me think, about what I want to be, and what I can be. I see Derrick Redmond and his father, I think of Galileo in direct violation of the authority of the church to advance the noble cause of science, I think of all of the petty, sad, horrid and ignorant belligerents opposing them, and how much things matter.

  • what software is this made with?

    its amazing!

  • You're very talented! Great job. I don't get tired of watching this video.

  • I love this.

  • This is very well done. I may use it for my English students.

  • says a person who has never written any poem worth the ink used to write it

  • One of my favorite poems. But you're right, this reading robs the rhythm.

  • priceless!!!

  • this is one of the best poems I have ever read... it deals almost about everything in this complex world by asking each and everyone to keep HOPE and a better FUTURE...Especially with the phrase: "Hold on."...It is a great and inspirational poem... I love it.

  • what song is this?

  • Fauré: Pavane

  • classic tune- and marvellous job on the editing/animation- 10/10

  • left me speechless!

  • epic!!!

  • Very, very nice...thank you...

  • i love this poem,

but writing about it for english is.... difficult

  • this is the best i've seen of this poem. i was at boys state when i first heard it. a councilor recited it to us the last day. since then i memorized it and would often recite it to the wrestling team (i was captain) my senior year, and even now i remind myself of the meaning of this poem often with my endeavors in life. it reminds me to work harder when things are not at their best. its a poem that i feel should be said more.

  • Beyond incredible, this is the crowning glory of a all time classic poem!!!

  • Worderful

  • This was wonderful. Very well done and a good choice in poem.

  • I had so much stress until now. I feel this is the way life should be treated, the ultimate sacrifice that meets its prize and gives more in return...
