This seems like a great program for early advancement, but it's not really reading it's simply memory. To be able to read you need to know letters and letter sounds first. Either way, it's great practice and will certainly help make the first connections when she does start to read.

It isn't brain washing. My kids are now in pre-school prep and the teacher says that they read on a Kindergarten level... They just turned 3! I am very proud.
@jhojho67 They are basically teaching children like how'd they do in kindergarten the only difference is its a earlier age. if u think this is brainwashing then so is all education.
i bought it yersterday i didnt call to the website or phone , i was shopping at bed bath and beyond and i saw it , my husband took one box right away lol... there were only two back then... i just started with my 6 months baby boy and ill se how fast well learn...

My baby just started the second dvd and he is now five months..How long did it take for ur baby to get it or show some inprovments??I would love to no how you did it with your child..can you fill me in on some info??Also its amazing that at four in a half months he said his first word and it was daddy..Now every thing is daddy..lol..
@molokaiian67 I have twins... They did it together. I honestly can't remember when they started showing improvements. I started it when they were 9 months old. Have fun! Congrats on the first word.
