Great trained doby! Good job you did. Can i ask you something? Im from Belgium, Europe and im wondering if this is an american doberman pincher or a european dobermann??? I guess its a US doberman pincher but i would like to be sure. Its a beautyful doby. And sweet too :-))) Greetings to the both of you........ Oh and give your doby a kiss from me ;-)
Hello dear DobbieLover-- Can I please ask you where did you get your Doberman? I am in a process of breeder's screening and I don't know who to trust... Please let me know as soon as you get this message. Thank you
If you keep feeding something even you can have a mouse do tricks. Okay made bot a mouse, but I thought my cat do high , jump & etc.. but I have to give him treats do. I WANA SEE SOMEONE do tricks with doberman without the treats. These dogs are extremely intelligent, with a good owner they dont need treats to make them do tricks.
@m33lad Thanks for watching! Ha ha well if i dont have food he will stare off in the distance and act like he is deaf. He only does basic comands like come sit and stay for no treats. he just ignores me if i ask for a trick with no food.
@DobbieLover Okay, I like to use treats when rewarding the dog because it motivates her most. I'd be happy to prefer the other ways to treats, because it easily goes into the point you are in; if you don't have treats, the dog will not obey. Start teaching him out of this by not giving him a treat every time he does something for you. Eventually you don't always need to have treats on you when you want your dog to do something. I think it's important to have a dog like that.

Hi, this vid is awsome thanks for posting it, ı will get my dobie about 3 weeks later waiting for it to be 1 month old. Can you help me to teach these tricks to my dobie ? thanks you very much :))
Hi! Wow, your dog has a great trick repertoire, amazing!!! Can you also please send me the PM explaining how you achieved all of 'em? Thank you in advance. :)
The reason i am asking is my family adopted a 7 months old Dobermann last weekend, and he already knows the basic commands (sit, down, paw, stay) - but there's still a lot of (teaching) work to do.
With the discipline your dog has, and what you know about him, i think you could teach him to bring you a drink, like in the movies, i never thought I'd see that in real life, but you have a good method, kudos :)
I have a 5 month old Dobe myself, but the only video I have of him here on youtube is the first one i took when i got him home for the first time, here, check it out :)
@DobbieLover, awesome video. Ours just turned one. Would live a PM with training tips.
We're dealing with what we think is separation anxiety. We have tried everything. We never make a big deal about coming or going. Leave him with a high value frozen treat. Only leave him crated for 1-3 hrs and NEVER more than 4. Really only crate when going out to eat or to friends houses. We always see signs of him aggressively trying to get out of the crate. Anyone have recommendations. Again, I thought w
You have to growl at the dog yourself and taunt him a little with food until he barks at you. then reward him & say speak at the instant he barks. or go outside, wait until he barks at a squirrel then say speak & good boy until he understands barking & the word speak are together.
do everything one step at a time until he learns how to learn. once they understand you are teaching something & they are suppose to do something it goes quick after that. good luck!!
Ive been wanting a dog for a long time but I can't get one because my dad is so attached to his stupid cat. As soon as I move out and have my own place, I'm getting a dog. I want to get a Doberman puppy so I can start early with training. This video is great, though! Fantastic job training:)
Hello I have a Doberman puppy he is 5 months to the day and is great with tricks I can't for the life of me figure out how you taught him ciao though, please let me know so I can get to training him right away I want him to learn that so bad lol
can you tell me what is the healthy problems in the dober man dogs ??? h heard before that the doberman has healthy problem at The heart muscle ... also he loss the Sense of smell after 7 years ago ... is this information right or wrong ??
@usamaabdelsalam1985 Most pure breed dogs can be prone to some health issues. I am not that knowledgable and suggest you google for more information. Thanks for watching!
@usamaabdelsalam1985 I lost my girl, Lady, to heart trouble. Around 8 years old, she started losing weight, then one morning didn't wake up. They can be tested genetically for the issue but the guys who had her mom didn't know that there was a problem. Several of the litter were lost.
oh wow im speechless! i guess not all dogs are smart like your dog? i have a 3month old pup he knew how to sit stay down play dead.im teaching him to speak/bark command by let him listen to my recorded dog barks and everytime he bark too i will say good boy and give him treats.but sometimes he just look at me as if he still dont know what im suppose to tell him to do!i guess alot of treats and patience will do??hehe
wow! I have a doberman too, but she won't do ANY tricks! I've tried to teach her to speak and she does absolutely nothing. People say to motivate her with her favorite toy and a treat but she doesn't do anything. Help!
@saddlebredcrzy321 i dont think doing that will motivate her.. doberman is a very dominant dog.. @DobbieLover I love how you've trained your doberman! It would be really nice if you could pm me your training methods. I wanna train my doberman pup to do those stuff. :
I just got a Doberman about a month and a half ago and although he is smart and pretty obedient, he doesn't hold a candle to how well behaved and trained yours is. He likes to play bite me a lot and I have found out that he does this not only to play but to get my attention when he wants to come on the couch or the bed. Haven't figured out a way to get him to tell me when he needs to go pee or potty yet. Any ideas?
I have owned Dobermans for over 10 years now and all I can say is... smartest dog in the world, hands down! He is such a gorgeous boy! His head is perfect! These dogs are great with kids, small animals (dogs and cats), elderly people (they are almost born to be therapy dogs) and the most obedient dogs in the world. Mine would seriously jump off of a bridge to follow me if I did it first. Long live Dobies!
NOW THAT IS a big doberman ive seen on you tube so far. if that had a chain necklace around its neck, it would of looked so vicious and intimidating to intruders and tress passers. LOL
@wingman123 Thanks for watching! you need to start training from day one! first trick is to get them to tell you when they need to go outside! for mine, he gives me a kiss when he wants to go out. How To: you grab his face and push his nose into your cheek and then look at him and say you want to go out? soon he wil learn to come and give you a kiss and then he gets to go outside! be consistant and he will figure it out real fast that giving you a kiss results in getting to go outside.
@TheSnipaAssasin He was cropped/docked by the breeder and is the son of champion show dogs. Ear cropping is controversial and I would say unless you are going to show your dog in the USA it is not necessary.
Great video! What a beautiful boy you have. Love to see people spending that amount of quality time with their dogs :-)
My first Dobie is turning 1 year in Aug and Im picking up another puppy tomorrow. Ill post up some welcome home videos of Osiris when I get him home tomorrow..

the dog under the table is not moving....is that a painting? a picture? a teddy doberman? Or just a very calmed doberman puppy?

Looking into getting my first doberman, when is the best time(age) to start training them?
wingman123 7 months ago
@wingman123 Thanks for watching! you need to start training from day one! first trick is to get them to tell you when they need to go outside! for mine, he gives me a kiss when he wants to go out. How To: you grab his face and push his nose into your cheek and then look at him and say you want to go out? soon he wil learn to come and give you a kiss and then he gets to go outside! be consistant and he will figure it out real fast that giving you a kiss results in getting to go outside.

wow, what an amazing dog, I really want one of these, how much does it cost to get his ears cut and his tail cut? thanks!

@TheSnipaAssasin He was cropped/docked by the breeder and is the son of champion show dogs. Ear cropping is controversial and I would say unless you are going to show your dog in the USA it is not necessary.
