In the video he clearly does not actually jump over the car, he jumped next to it, and all the proof you need is in the video if you know what you are looking for.

In the video the sun in coming from behind the camera, you can tell this by Kobe's shadow on the ground as well as that of the pole. When he jumps it, you can clearly see his shadow on the side of the car, especially when he is coming down over the rear. If he jumped over it, there would be no shadow of him on the side of the car.
