i was sleeping... then i just like glimpsed at the picture frame infront of me... i went back to sleep. then i opened my eyes and saw my dad and mum sitting their with a laptop. my mum was like "stop moving ur body" and my dad was like "look up u selfish" she looked up "omg what going on" then my cousin was like "KIRROONNNNN Theres a earthquake look out the windows" i did a 360 spin onto the ground and hurt my ass. then i saw a crack on the road.. everyone saw it. it was on the news alredy

I used to live quite near where this footage was taken. I had just gotten into bed on the ground floor so I felt it well.

The first thought that run through my head was, damn the brick houses here aren't earthquake-proof... Let's get outta here!

But since it was a small earthquake, by the time I made it to the front door it was pretty much over.

Hull isn't that far from the epicenter, but people felt it all the way to London.

I remember when this happened.... I was 12 at the time (14 now =P) I woke up saw everything shaking and the noise was horrendous. It was like a tank going past the house. I jumped out of bed yelled we're all gonna die and legged it for the front door XD. Because ironically that same week we was learning about the world's deadliest earthquakes.

Teachers say there would never be an earthquake in Hull? shows how much they know -_-
