Flawless (HQ) FINAL BGT 2009

I feel like the reason that Flawless didn't win is because they outdid themselves in the semi-finals. They went all out in semis, and then in finals, the judges were slightly underwhelmed. Diversity on the other hand, had a little bit more flash for the finals and that's why they won. At least, that's what I think happened.

Diversity was clearly the "real" winners, both in their perfected dancing & overall performance & entainment value. Flawless was gimmicky, theatrical & not very original in the finals. To the Flawless fans: why didn't they end-up in the final 3 acts voted if they were so good? Diversity is on TV & still active touring everywhere, yet I haven't heard or seen anything regarding Flawless anywhere

after BGT. I watched BGT from America then & still believe DIVERSITY is the best group EVER on BGT!

Flawless are PATHETIC they copied half there moves from the Jabawokeez and if you look at there Audition it is waaaaaaaaaaaaay diffent to there semi-finel because they copied half there moves from diversitys audition this is somthing i noticed straight away !!!!!!!!!! Agreed with what Spiritman said about this being an entertainment contest. Flawless were slicker, more polished and hands down the more professional of the two, but Diversity went quite over-the-top with their creativity and it worked. Also 2009's BGT was the best BGT by a mile, and featured some of the most talented contestants as a whole in any talent show I have seen so far. Forget Flawless or Diversity, even that Aidan kid would walk through today's BGT

Easy to settle this

Flawless is crisp and clean but has too many pauses and some members are waaaay better then other. I don't bash them for using moves from other groups as dance does that by nature. Everyone will be doing the peridot "Plug in" this year.

Diversity dance as a unit and pick more original arrangements but they do less dancing and more formations and aren't as crisp.

conclusion Hire flawless if want to enetrtain a club,Diversity if you want to entertain a mall.

This performance was not so good for me, it felt a bit too MJish LOL! Too many moves from MJ there wasn't enough originality... there were even a couple of elements I think I saw from Americas Best Dance Crew S1 champion Jabbawockeez... the set was sort of like copied from the ABDC and the move where they use the guy like a mic and stand was done by Jabba also.

The finals wasnt their best...it didnt really show off their skills, just flashy scenery and the same old michael jackson that they already used and Diversity did it as well. However, following the thought that it wasnt their best (dont know why they decided to do it that way but ignoring that) then based on the first two performances, I would say that they beat out Diversity on dance skills alone. However, the other group had mad choreography.

There are things I like about both Diversity and Flawless, but personally, I like how Flawless sticks with one main theme for most of the performance. Sometimes I feel like Diversity is all over the place with too transitions too soon. Both are great groups though!

I think these guys lost because Diversity put over things into their act like comedy, for example like the super man t-shirt in the Diversity final dance video, which put Flawless at a disadvantage. These guys stick to the system and dance. They should have won hands down.

@ToBeBounced if you watched both and compared, you'd notice that in Flawless's semi-final performance, the dancer at the end attempts to do a flip over the other dancers, but he doesn't land it. Diversity performs that same move in the final, with a child doing it, no less, and he lands it perfectly, not once, but twice. flawless is certainly good, but they make mistakes too, as does Diversity. Difference is, Diversity is creative and fun to watch, so the mistakes don't matter to the viewers.

Let's be honest in many sections of this performance it wasn't flawless at all. Many moves were out of sync, and the creativity was at the worst level of all of their past performances.

The part where they pretty much C&P smooth criminal made it worse because they don't just lack creativity, they've lost their originality.

If I am a fan of flawless I'd be disappointed with this.

Diversity were deserved winners no questions asked.

That was a risky routine (and in my opinion the reason they lost); they mostly did MJ's choreography instead of bringing something completely fresh to the table ...which Diversity did: their transformer (or megazord? lol) and their humorous impersonation of the judges pretty much secured their win.

People who don't understand what real dancing is, voted for that kidstuff. Diversity was ok, but didn't inpress me. Flawless has beaten Diversity at least 10 times on the real dance contests. Diversity learned to dance from Flawless. Diversity had to go an other way then Flawlesss, otherwise they got no where. Flawless is the way better dancegroup, with more style and class, way more professional.. And that Diversity won BGT, good for them. But they are not a better dancegroup then Flawless.
