  • Jimi walked up to Noel and said "Hey man I like your hair-- you wanna be my drummer". I lived in Jimi's flat in Woodstock NY, there were purple footprints across the floor. He walked them out one day and we kept as a shrine.

  • Would ya' know if this is before or after Monterey Pop?

  • this solo brings tears to my eyes every time i hear it

  • Hendrix myriad of cords is amazing, im sure he could make tears roll down my cheeks, hes awesome

  • the wind cries christina

  • There goes the best guitarist of them all

  • his sloppyness is alright,i mean i like it.i rather not let jim burn his guitar. rest in peace henderix

  • thank you for loading this video - 420 music

  • Jimi was going through depression and anger... a lot was going on with the label he was on. Yes on some of the videos later on you will see that in his face. Surf the net or but the book and you will find a lot of answers to your questions. Remember a lot of rumors was going around about Hendrix that was not true.

  • woah...

tis is my 1st experience of jimmy hendrix's music and .... wow .. he rox

I ran out to purchase a jimmy hendrix cd

But i am so much disappointed with the the cd rendition of "Wind cries Mary". It is so awful... The cd producer did jus a poor job, they actually started the track about ~1 to 2sec in the song, the 1st drumbeat is cut off =_=''

The cd is "Experience hendrix" from MCA records (Universal Music company)

    So disppointed by the cd...

  • To releasethedub,

Jimi was damn near perfect in 1967 because he came out then, everything was fresh, the music he performed was new. After Monterey, everyone wanted to see him burn his guitar, and he got tired of that. When Jimi started introducing new music and new ways of playing the old stuff, the crowd didnt dig that, and he DID get booed sometimes.Anyways, that and his overbooked-ness, for which he took a lot of sleeping pills and boosters, contributed to his sloppyness during his later years.

  • I am just trying to understand the truth behind Jimi. He seemed so sloppy and drugged out during so much of 1968 and 1969. The stuff I have seen from 1967 is so clean, I am almost suspect it to be some sort of studio edit, or at least worth of the hype he obtained.

  • thanx for this cool video...Jimi Hendrix Best Ever Musician
