  • Can anybody post Johnny singing the song The Johnsons of Turkey Ridge?

  • Love Paycheck. Can't remember the name of a song he did. As I remember he was arrested for being in the back yard of a house where he once lived. Anyone familiar withn that one?

  • This is country music .

  • Nice song

  • If you werent drunk when you listened to this i dont know what the fuck your doing

  • i love gettin up on the mountain!!!!!!!

  • One of the BEST! This is real country!A+ A+A+A+

  • @GODZILLAMANASS "nigger fucker", "no niggers in our schools" both by david allan coe. lets be fair here..DAC is a legend, top 5 greatest country singers and a true outlaw but he is a racist. doesnt make him any less of a musician.

  • That's the first time I have heard it by anyone but Barrie Ward!!

  • Johnny, you have caused me to get my assed wiped, no stomped, on more than three occassions. But Bro, being a fan of your' s hurts. But I love ya.

  • Real country right there! George Jones, Merle Haggard too. New country sucks!

  • Rascal Flatts is not country.......more like sanitized shit!!!

  • ColbertandStewartpwn you ignorant slob, Charley Pride is a great country singer. What the f*** do you do, listen to the song or look at the complexion of the singer?

  • Yupp, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts and all the other bubble headed bimbos that are forced down our throats as country music BLOWS big time!

Johhny Cash, Vince, Waylon, Hank, CONWAY, Willie, Vern, Jones, Loretta, Wynette, Dolly, Charlie Pride the list goes on and on as far as examples go.... but Nashville has turned into a flaming shit show the past 10 years.

  • @deltaf22 gota remember king george! but ya i completely agree!

  • @PUTZSEAN King George the King of Faggots

  • @deltaf22 Whadyamean past 10 years? ? Been a whole lot longer than that!

  • @deltaf22 Yes Sir - My feelings exactly

  • @deltaf22 there are some real country singer out there trying 2 bring it back u should check out justin moore jason aldean jamey johnson easton corbin eric church

  • @deltaf22 damn straight. this is REAL fucking country.

  • @deltaf22 Flaming Shit Show! That rules! Good one man!

  • @deltaf22

Tell it ! You made a few omissions both good and bad though . The Good : Dwight Yoakam and Gary Stewart

The Pure Shit : Kenny Chesney and Jason Aldean

  • @deltaf22 Yea verily, you're preaching to the choir! Damn, I watched Taylor Swift on the Grammy's the other night and she was HOT and DOES sing a good song or two, so I bought her CD. We're running out of heroes these days. But I was thinking tonight, has she ever done even a single song to compare to Lynn Anderson? I just wish we could have another Loretta or Tammy.

  • It's funny that Moe Bandy had the hit with this. Bandy seems like a good guy, but Paycheck's a much better singer.

  • Wow, I came across this and it reminded me that I opened up for ol Johnny years ago.. This great.. Kyle

  • THis and Cotton to Satin are my favorite Paycheck songs. They just make a cold beer taste a hell of a lot better, which is the sign of a great country song instead of the bubblegum country we are subjected to these days. Can the Mule get an amen?

  • Amen brother

  • Amen mule.

  • Amen Mule!!

  • Amen, Mule. I don't listen to Country today. We only get to hear what music row pushes on us, what they think is commercial enough to make them money. Brad Paisley is the closest thing to country today. At least he's real.

Hank Jr and Paycheck need to be in the CMHoF.

  • wow im sorry brad paisley is the furthest thing from country, in one of his songs he mentions martin luther king? that shit aint country, country is hank Williams jr!

  • Paisley is the only thing worth listening to in country today. Would you suggest maybe Taylor Swift? Maybe Kenny Chesney or Tim McGraw? So, he mentions Dr. King in a song. Big fat deal. Like I said, I don't listen to today's country, haven't bought a country CD in several years now. I think Hank Jr's "Almeria Club" was the last one worth having.

  • tim mcgraw i would suggest! not that fag paisley! and tylor swift fucking sucks!

  • @PUTZSEAN Tim Mcgraw is as far from country as you can get. He's a disgrace to country music and so is his wife. Same for half the people that came out at that time and are coming out today!!!

  • @CarlG78 really so a song called southern voice isnt country? go listen to his new album he is back to country roots now, try blake shelton and toby keith thats country! not rascal flatts and tatlor swift!

  • @PUTZSEAN I dont care what he has come out with he is not country.Toby and Blake, yes.Rascal Flats are a bunch of homos and Taylor Swift is a little hoe....LOLThere are still country singers out there but not many and if you like Tim Mcgraw thats good thats your opinion but I have never liked him even when he put out his first albulm. When he married Faith it made it Worst because I could never stand her but thats my opinion.

  • @PUTZSEAN I dont care what Tim Mcgraw put out he sucks!!!!Toby Keith and Blake Shelton are good ,yes.I saw Toby Keith in Albany NY and it was a great show!!!!!

  • @rockinredneck57 -Amen

  • I agree that Paisley does not hold a candle to the Hag, but what the fuck does MLK have to do with whether or not something is country music?

  • he is a nigger?

  • Comment removed

  • @ColbertandStewartpwn ..........get a life,this 2010,what do you do for a living.Work for David Allen Coe who's a racist bigot,pity,because he's a mighty singer...

  • @PARKMORE39 I agree

  • @PARKMORE39 Jesus christ dude, can you name a DAC song that's bigoted? He has a black drummer for christ's sake.

  • AMEN TO THE MULE!

  • @steelermule Isn't Cotton to Satin one of Gene Watson's song?

  • @sonofalogger97 gene watson does this song, but i first heard paycheck do it on an old album i had years ago

  • @steelermule Not this song, i know this is Johnny Paycheck's song.

  • High, Above your world, Where there's NO PAIIIN!!!!

  • Did he record this before or after Moe Bandy had a hit with it?

  • I think before Moe.

  • wow very waylon jennings wel to me anyway country at its best

  • I bought a record player cabinet with this album for $125, and I played the heck out of this track! jokin @ grinnin.

  • What a voice, what a guy. This is the REAL country music. No lazer light show, tight shirt wearing fruit cake in leather pants doing split kicks on stage with a cowboy hat lol

  • i agree one hundred percent! so go on my channel and look under my website. there is a channel devoted to the way country was! subscribe if you like what you see

  • He is so good!

  • Johnny Paycheck is my favorite singer of all time, the little man with the big voice, the one that rocks your heart like thunder across a deserted plain.

  • I climb upp

  • johnny was a good man' had one hell of a temper'' but he sure was fun to be around

  • Yeah, she loved him, Bill Monroe and Ralph Stanley too. She used to joke, "Don't talk about Johnny Paycheck, that's my man!" I agree, I was just fine with my dad.

  • Keep these legends alive!!

  • Good man! My mom would have tried to marry him if it weren't for my dad, hehe!

  • LOL!! Johnny was one of my favorite all time singers, but I don't know if I'd want him for a stepfather.
