How much material? More than a few sound bites, that's for certain. Beyond that, being able to actually hear a few sermons would be helpful. That way it would be possible to tell if the majority of the sermon was focused on religious teaching or was focused on political speech. And remember, its what the majority of the sermons were like that is important as no parishioner should ever be required to agree 100% politically with their reverend.

How much material? More than a few sound bites, that's for certain. Beyond that, being able to actually hear a few sermons would be helpful. That way it would be possible to tell if the majority of the sermon was focused on religious teaching or was focused on political speech. And remember, its what the majority of the sermons were like that is important as no parishioner should ever be required to agree 100% politically with their reverend.

I praise Pope Benedict who showed that the way to peace is not by noisily spouting obnoxious accusations, but by quiet joyful words that are full of light & respect for other persons of another faith.
