@tele1974 You should put the eyelet in from the bottom like on the video. Then the eyelet captures the grommet on one side and the screwhead on the other.
@tele1974 yes it is.the rounded end of the grommet is to prevent it from being driven into the wood thus causing the loss of the soft mounting.Too tight.but don't feel bad ,I use to do it too.

I have been putting in my gromet from the other side for years. Is that wrong?
