Yeah, I remember seeing screenshots for this version way back in the December 1999 copy of Gamepro magazine, but that was the last I heard of it. Imagine my suprise when I see magazine ads for the 360 version, about 10 years later. It's sad that a game that stays in development for that long still turns out to be average at best.

i like this game. i wouldn't have bought it (i got it as a contest reward alongside another game) cause it never draw my attention - i thought it would be like some sci-fi platform / halo-like game.

but i really enjoyed this - to my surprise it was like Diablo!! i would never have looked into this game, but it really was a dungeon-crawler, better than i expected. still short and bland, but loads of fun trying to collect better gear and trying different char builds.

yup it was developed and pushed through 3 different consoles. best part is that silicon knights actually finished development on the playstation version and was canceled shortly before being shipped to retail. It was a 4-disc game.

I really hate to dis about other people, but in all honesty, hsngdragon has no clue what Mass Effect or Too Human play like. Mass Effect shouldn't take you more than 10-15 hours to totally complete if your diligent, Too Human takes about double that just to get you halfway. And I have to show some disapproval for the ratings people have given it; gamesradar, almost all the magazines, and a few other websites that I'm still sifting through, gave it horrible ratings when it deserved to be rated up

Hate to burst your bubble buddy but I beat Too Human in under 7 hours and got the unstoppable achievements (no dying) all the way through helheim (GT: ix GraveworM xi). Mass Effect takes over 20 hours to "totally complete" meaning do every side mission etc.

If you beat the game in 7 hours good for you, but you don't have all the different items and powerful weapons that are locked away. And if it takes you 20 hours to "totally complete" Mass Effect then your just lazy. My step-brother and myself have both beaten the entire thing with all the powerful weapons in under 15 hours.

I think its awesome how the gamewas originally to be on PSone (thank god it wasnt), but then it was cancelled, and then Silicon Knights made a partnership with Nintendo, thus, Too Human was to be released on GameCube, but never was, the partnership ended (Would've been intresting to see the game on the GameCube, it didn't have many decent RPG's, pretty much the gay anime RPG's), and now, finally, its going to be on the Xbox 360!

looks like it would've been the best looking ps1 game - in still shots. With no or few AI on screen - the framerate looked like it was skipping like hell with very few frames of animation which would've rendered it unplayable. The game was clearly taxing and crippling the hardware at its limits!
