Oh, Clever. This is a safe risk. If the ads aren't making enough money, they'll simply shut down the ads which means you would't be able to use it. (I think)

I took a class on DarkBasic in high school. It was actually really easy. Is there much of a difference between DB and DB Pro? I still have the codes saved from all my old games, if I were to copy them over would they work the same? Just trying to decide which to download

I bought my copy of DarkBasic Professional second hand, I when I checked the programs folder PC I couldn't find the activation key anywhere. I guess this means I just payed for a piece of software I can't even access?? Do you have any suggestions as to what I can do?

I am told that the original owner purchased the software legitimately, I have just bought the software on the CD from him. It's all legit, I just can't find the activation key :(

Okay, so this is ad-supported. Are the ads in the DarkBasic window, or is it an ad program that will happily plunk itself down on my hard-drive and display ads all the time?

You get TGC banners at the bottom of the program window. You don't loose any typing space, it's just intergrated into the compile pane at the bottom.

Hi , I am looking forward to this (I would like to create my own fan made games) I know it would need Coding and lots of Tutorials to learn how to make what i want to and i think this program should be my start i know it says it can do it without Coding but to get the game i want to i think i would need coding =P

There's a large number of free tutorials on our forums. Also if you search youtube with the word "darkprinciples" you'll find a few hours of free video tutorials helping you get started.

For home users only? I think 99% of it's users are home users.

We get alot of commerical and educational sales. This allows those students to get their own copy. Plus you can still purchase DarkGAME Studio which comes with alot of other tools to help gamers.
