  • Cool solo.

  • scofield style

  • very nice!!

  • awesome ...

  • Correct me if I'm wrong , but doesn't this sound kind of like a take off of Stevie Ray Vaughns Tightrope solo ?

  • Mmm let me think.... same solo intro as Tightrope, same chord progression as Tightrope, same key as Tightrope, dialing up a similar guitar tone as used on Tightrope.... you know i think you could be right!

  • sweet riffage and love the tone!

  • I've watch several of your video's, you have perfect pitch and incredible timinging. You better get in the business if your not, just don't let it ruin what you got.

  • Ehhh!!

Thats the groove that I try to find when i´m playing..

  • I'm loving that guitar solo and ur style of funk blues. Gr8 job

  • Wow. Fantastic! Amazing job!

  • Great chops man! I thought me playing on 12's were big, damn.. Good job

  • hi im new to soloing, i know where the notes are and stuff, but any tips of how you find the key of the solo, and how to move the solo around the neck? thanks in advance

  • yup. find the key just go on the e string from the open not to the 11th fret and whichever one "sounds right" is the proper key most likely. but remember there are minor and major keys youll ahve to figure out which one it is really. second, just learn the pentatonic scale and all its modes and you should pretty much be set with that one ha/.

  • Another awesome video :D You are a great Guitarist!I like your style and this JM sig Guitar :D excellent Blues playing and great sound!

  • I'm trying to figure out how to tune to Drop Bb..nothing is helping.

    :[

    Any tips?

  • drop Bb? wow man thats pretty low!! you might want to go grab a tuner!

  • Yeah, it's to play a song for a talent show coming up.

    It's pretty intense.

  • Good luck with it!!

  • @Dominicker - for drop Bb..that only consists of puting your index finger on the A string 1st Fret and tuning the Low E to harmonise with the A...open Bb tuning is a different story all together which i think u mean u want...

  • Hell yeah man!! that felt really good to listen too lol ya melted my face 56:00 to 1:05 was my favorite part...just curious, what kinda strat is that?

  • face melting is an unfortunate side effect i'm afraid! I'm using a john mayer strat, string gauges .013, .015, .019, .028, .038, and .058. running it through a line 6 POD and an avalon pre amp. pretty happy with the tone.

  • dude. I've been playin for 3 years. and I've never had lessons. and im almost 19, so i feel like its too late to start. i wish i knew how to play like that. damn.

  • Okay I am going back to practice some more! great playing.
