i want matt to leave though. he annoys the crap out of me -____- hopefully in series 6 he'll die or something. primeval never had a problem killing off the characters ive loved like cutter, so they shouldn't have a problem killing off the one who cant act.

I think series 4 and 5 are the best so far. I'm LOVING all the main pairings. Matt/Emily, Becker/Jess, and Connor/Abby are all amazing. I also love how the storylines are going. I think Matt, Jess, and Emily are the best new additions to the show. If there is hopefully another series of Primeval, I hope all the cast members are back from series 4/5! I think Becker and Jess are a gorgeous pairing. And Matt/Emily are sweet and lovely. I keep re-watching the episodes from series 4 and 5!

i dont think Primeval wanted us to like matt or jess, i think they wanted us to remember Nick cutter and the old team by creating a new team with a leader whos just not as good as cutter

I was okay when Danny joined, actually he was pretty good, I'm surprised becker's made it this far, he used to be the less popular one, cuz he was all machine guns, and the old team was all brains. the old team used to do everything on a whim, and use their brains, but the new team is too controlled by lester. :( and this is crazy, but i miss helen, she was the most interesting character ive ever met

im pretty pissed off at primeval right now- not the show, really, just lester and some of the ppl. Jess parker and matt anderson could never replace ppl like cutter, stephen, connor, abby, or danny. and i hate how later they actually try to fire Abby and connor?! I mean, i don't like jess, i dont thinks shes cut out for the arc, and i dont really like matt, either. They can't replace the old ppl, the old team was great!

they are just too cute (becker and jess, that is) :3 can't wait to see what's gonna happen to this couple in series 5! don't they dare to kill one of them off...!!

(maybe i'm just imagining things here, but doesn't it look like becker's a tiny bit afraid as he's backing away when jess comes closer in the beginning...? and the untypical high pitch of his voice at some points...? :P awww, i could look at this all day long - too adorable!)

Also I'm finding it hard to hate Jess (which I had decided to do ever since I learned of Sarah's death and Jess's crush on Becker) because she's so nice!
