  • リレーテール似合ってんなぁ

  • What a great design: tight, muscular, elegant... all at the same time.

  • Great lightshow at the tail, like it!

  • Motor sounds tired?

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but was 1966 the sole year for the 428? I believe it was even nicknamed the "Mightybird".

  • I want it --always loved these bird looking thunderbirds american styling in the sixtys to my mind was far out space like and even rocket looking cars --cause of the space program maybe their minds were dialed in to these designs.

  • @crystalcraftsman The interiors of these cars alone outmatched any other interior design of those days. Dash, door panels, and even the back seats were very SASSY! And a 428 in this one? HHHHoooolllllyy SHiiiittt!!

  • Look at the tailights.

Only 66 had the lights all the way across.

    ala Thelma & Louise

  • The '64, '5, and '66 Thunderbirds are all the same body.

  • @StephenB58 They're all slightly different, you can tell a 66 and a 65 by the front bumper, the 66 has more of a regular bumper that's underneath the grill, the 65 and 64 have bumpers that conform to the shape of the top of the grill

  • i love those fabules turn signals!!

  • Wonderful car !!!

  • How could you not know what year your car is?

  • @5JackofHearts5 65 had special chrome trim on front fenders sort of like a elongated u

  • Definetely a 66 T-Bird Town Landau.

  • the back of that car is just so beautiful

  • makes me wanna restore my 65 t-bird has a 390 been sittin in yard for years

  • Beautiful! And yeah, I still think the sequential turn signals rock (kudo's to Ford for bringing them back on the 2010 'Stang). Thanks for posting.

  • Beautiful car, love those turn signals!

  • What master/booster combo did you use in the the duel reservoir conversion?

  • Sweet ride man

There's a 65 a few blocks from my house for $1150 that im buying. It has an engine in it and is white but is pretty beat to hell

  • Gotta love those sequential turn signals

  • It's on my short list of the most beautiful cars ever produced. That goes for the interior and exterior as well.

  • 65 has separate tail lights, 66 has continious lights and yah, first year for the 428

  • 65 has the bird on the hood, 66 has the bird on the grill

  • that's a 66, i have one just like that!!!

  • Definitely a 66.

  • 66 had the 428. Even in that big car not much room in the engine compartment. I have a 69 ccougar with a 428, and thats a tight fit......

  • yep 66

  • nice car, but unibodyguy is right, that is a 66 t-bird. you can tell with the grill and the tail lights along with what he mentioned

  • Car sure looks like a 66 to me by the roofline especially and the lack of front fender side chrome. Also too unless it was put in there the 428 was also a 1966 option for the 1st time in Thunderbird. Great video of the car and really like the fact you got the signal/tailights working also. Always liked that trick on those and the Mustang California Specials.
