@tristanlipke He's trying to boot the people on HIS team who is a threat, is smart enough to figure out his evil strategies and he boots them off because he wants to stay stronger so he has an unlikelyhood of getting kicked off. Of course only a true total drama charcater like I can understand that.

Scott is gonna go down hard in the end... but at least he's the only contestant with an actual strategy (aside from Jo's momentary strategies). he probably wants to eliminate his own team mates, causing a merge of the teams where he can start taking people down individually

@FrangiPaint I agree and that has to be the one thing I dislike about this show. Most of the time people who don't even try win. It's like the show thinks everyone is an underdog fan. I like the characters that try and fail than those that do nothing and make it because of nothing.

@kiy1999 sadly that is truth in television in a lot of reality shows, though :P the underdog who doesn't make a big fuss will often be forgotten by more motivated contestants and end up winning

@FrangiPaint I know. It's basically saying "you don't have to try to win, you just have to not make anyone throw you off the show". I know it's a cartoon but I don't like the idea it gives to some of the more impressionable viewers. In any real fashion it would be the opposite, those with strategy and determination are likely to win. It also might because a lot of people hate Scott, and many like him. They want to make him controversial, rial up the crowd.

@kiy1999 At least a lot of determined and strategizing characters have gotten far in this cartoon, just look at Alejandro and Heather. they both had a game plan and ended up as the final two, same with Heather in the first season where the only reason she got booted off was due to a technicality (either way third place isn't bad). As for Justin... he made it far and I lvoe him, but, he became his own downfall which is always the risk

Scott's strategy is stupid to me, if you take out your own team you aren't going to much support on challenges you want to win and if he takes everyone out he'll have to go against the other team by himself and that's a surefire way to eliminate yourself.

I think he is a parody of Russel Hantz though who sabotaged his tribemates in Survivor (burning their stuff, etc., etc.) and thus why the creators made Scott do that. Or just to make him a villain since the next season of TDI is rumored to be "Heroes vs. Villains" (which I think is silly, but oh well... lol).
