The breathing just doesn't sound right to me...the only time I have ever heard a horse breathing like that is when it has an obstructed airway or has over-exerted itself...hummm...
Its just the comprassion against his airway when he was doing that quick trot thing. If you listen when he stops trotting he doesn't breath like that. Some race horses breath like that after a race.
So it's like a combination of a semi-obstructed airway because of the arch in his neck, and exertion because he was trotting for a while? Like a dog pulling on the leash when he's excited and partially collapsing it's trechea? I thought it may have been something like that. Not harmful, just funny sounding. :)

for fuck sake you kind of people annoy me. the horse is learning to do this gate properly for showing of some sort. this movement the horse is doing is very natural to there breed and hes just trying to get the horse to extend out and doing it fast but properly so that it doesn't drop into another gate. the reason its breathing like that is properly because it has been doing it for some time now and its only just starting to do it properly.
OK I own horses and I really don't see the friggin point of making a horse walk like this, this is NOT natural. Can someone tell me what the fuck is the point of this, its not at all please to look at and the horse looks in some real pain and that breathing is not a good sign.

I have heard that this breed tends to naturally "roar". He looks like hes walking fast because he is actually gaiting... And no I do not have one of these horses.
