What a race! I can't imagine a much faster M-Pace for quite some time. Ron Pierce is a genius. He tipped Art Official ever so slightly to the outside of Somebeachsomewhere as they were turning for home. This made Paul MacDonell have to go to work on his horse earlier than he wanted to and without a breather. Tip your hat to Ronnie Pierce. In my humble opinion, he is the reason Art Official is the 2008 M-Pace champion. Take nothing away from MacDonell, Pierce just did everything right.
