  • I have trouble seeing a show like this having a huge following. Its rated R nature and its sword and sorcery story make tune it to very specific tastes. It would have a devoted cult following, but a cult does not necessarily make ratings.

  • Maybe the viewing public would be too narrow for it to make any real profit, firstly its an R rated cartoon, seccondly its a parody of D&D, thats two neishes in one cartoon. Although it is undenyably awesome in so many ways, awesomeness alone isnt the only contributing factor in weather a program is picked up for production. It comes down to money.

  • yeah, i like it, but can't see it succeeding in the general public, to much of a niche market. Love a good parody where the adventure is still as important as the jokes (see Venture Brothers, they are the best at it). Animation becoming very post modern.

  • The Korgoth pilot episode was never picked up by Adult Swim. So... It's over. Bye, bye Korgoth.

    Aaron Springer (Korgoth creator and writer) stated he has moved on to other projects, and William "Bill" Wray (a Korgoth artist) stated the execs at Adult Swim never picked up the show. Furthermore, as of the June 2007 announcement of Adult Swim's 2007 programming schedule, Korgoth of Barbaria is not on the list of new shows. It is also not slated for development.

  • No, this was a pilot that was competing aginst ATHF, and a few other badd ass cartoons. Unfortunetly they didn't pick up the series, and this is the one and only episode. You should try to find a good copy of "King Crab, Space Crustacian" I know I can't spell but in any case that is a good cartoon too!
