Sweet track yo. I just finished making my first Dubstep beat as well. I exported a version not fully equalized and posted it on youtube. When I finally finished the mastered version fruity loops started crashing and not letting me export my final product. It sux but I still got the unequalized one uploaded in my page. Check it out and tell me what you think.
How long did it take you to make such a sick song? For a first attempt this is sick. I just started trying to make music a week ago but don't really have anything yet but a whole bunch of sounds and drum loops in a random folder.
@Sorryimcheese This probably took between 12 and 13 hours to do. I would say it took that long just because I was learning how to use fruityloops as well as how to make a dubstep wobble, and how to formulate a dubstep song. If I tried again, it would probably go a bit quicker. Check out the many tutorials available on youtube if you get stuck.
@mrjay92 I actually used adobe audition for the vocals part. I mixed the music from FL down to a .wav track when I was done with it, imported it to audition, and then mixed everything together when I was done with the vocals. I do believe you can do vocals in FL, but audition is better for vox IMO.
Cool but you should try to make a nice drop. Make it dramatic by kind of making it soft and then big with the bass and a loud drum beat. VERY LOUD. Cool for your first try.
a really cool take on dubstep! you might need to turn the wobble down a bit to stop it over powering the overall sound, especially with auto compressor. is this you on the vocals? loving the harmonies of the wobble in this too!
@CapitalsMusic Thanks so much for the advice. I'll definitely take that into account with my next attempt. Yeah, it's me with the vox. Thanks again for your tutorial!

I love it! Can we get a download link if you're willing to share?
