Dear RAGC, You were there when I needed someone to cry to. There when I was lonely. There when I needed someone to relate to. There when I was abandoned,.. Always there.
6 people like different music than I do, I better post something witty about how they don't know good music and try to get some thumbs up from people over the internet I don't know and will never meet. Knock off that bullshit. Anyway, Andy Hull is a pretty shweet songwriter.
You have got to hear " Richard Green - Running through New York ". For his sister Ros who has terminal Breast and bone cancer. It is Amazing. The guy actually died trying to help save others.
Beautiful song. I actually died three times in New York while running the Marathon for my Sister Ros who has terminal cancer. please have a look at the video of the song. It tells the whole story.
i find it very strange that you guys are comparing this to the likes of oberst.. i mean i understand it all, on why you would, but like someone else said.... they are 2 very different artists.... both wonderful in their own ways tho..... but they really sound nothing alike... unless you mean the acoustic sound? but even lyrically, they both have a very distinct style that is completely different... just let em be who they are
Andy is much more Optimistic... If you look at Manchster Orchestra especially, you may say the songs are about hopelessness, but Andy is actually very religous and says, yea its okay to feel hopeless at some point, that nothing will get better, but that is the process that helps you recover.. Connor is the opposite in the lyrical sense. I personaly like Andy better, because he helps recover from depression, whereas Connor instills that sense of loss. if you can understand what im sayin
are you kidding me? im sure a lot of people can agree conor oberst writes some truly amazing lyrics.. andy does too but he on the other hand also is a very talented vocalist. either way andy hull is one very talented individual
Don't worry about it, I heard what you said and it's good, and I appreciate it more than any other man ever could.
