I used to karoake to this at a bar called "The Meadows". I would be drunk off my ass trying to sing this song, then I would stagger home, go to my room and get my bible. i couldnt read it because my eyes would be full of tears, so I would cry myself to sleep. i have been sober almost 8 years now through a loving God and a recovery program. I always knew i wanted a relationship with God. We seperate ourselves, I know this today.

@rickyd0821 Yw,I just want to say congrats on your sobriety.I can relate,Oct is going to be 10yrs and I CAN"T WAIT :)I often tell people that God took it away.I guess I just choose to keep it gone.lol.I also did the recovery program, but Jesus is my higher power&that alienated me.It's real sad for me cause I worked soooo hard.Anyway,I grew up listening to Kris K & Tanya Tucker among other classic country artists.It's nice to come across someone else who likes the same tunes.

Its difficult to go forth and multiply if you're all praying in your closets (as in the next line Matt 6:6) On one hand you're supposed to find new recruits and multiply, tell everyone you meet about being 'saved' about it, and then you are instructed to pray to your secret father in your closet. If you are one of the low-key christians, then you have my blessing.
