Berger rules-this is great skiing (old school?? -show me a video of anyone prior to 1995 skiing like this??)  Achieving this level of dynamic expert turning skills ain't for everybody (which is fine)-but for those striving to really become great skiers, this is as good a model as you'll find

as i do both racing and free skiing, i feel "carving turn" is defined in slightly different ways.

This is absolutely great athletic dynamic skiing, short radius turns, not pure carving in any sense, but appropriate for the terrain and turn radius.

@lamap1 these are carved short turns, performed on bumps. so the stance is narrow and he pole plants every turn. that's why it maybe makes you think of "old school".
