i broke mine last week and it was 10x worse than that i ran it over with my truck and it was cracked in every spot of the screen and i could peel the glass off of it and it still worked other than the peeled glass lol

lol (It came in at 10:00 am so it should be fixed by 3:00pm)....since when does it take 5 hours to replace a digitizer..i don't run a business full of pros that fix iphones and i replaced my LCD screen digitizer and mid-frame in less then an hour

I have an Iphone that is WORSE! The glass and lcd is cracked completely. The lcd is leaking you can see it leak when you use a torch light. The glass is completely smashed to small pieces but still sticking to the screen. There's no way to tell if its off or no or even ALIVE!:'(

mines like this. i just wrapped cling film around it so the glass doesnt fall out. works fine :L

How much does a repair like this cost?

My friend had a broken 3GS for about a month and had to get a new one from AT&T with discounts (she had to wait for the check that paid the previous AT&T bill to clear before she could get the discount)

The screen was fully functional like this one and not broken as badly.

its not a hard fix, i just tore mine apart and cleaned out the internals in about 20 minutes.
