  • Would this dish still taste ok if i didn't add raisens, almonds, safron and orange blossom water?. Safron is pricey and i don't really like the taste of the others in meals. The dish looks amazing though :)

  • Mmmmmmm I'm so making this today for me and fam... Looks so delicious masha allaah

  • Hi Alia, hope you are well. When you get a chance please go to the StoveTopHero site and read the blog, Cam explains the voting problem and solution in his "growing pains" piece. You are still in the #1 slot with 131 votes, but there are 2 contestants behind you with 113 and 103, so keep swimming! So sorry, but I am just now getting to sending your t-shirt off in the mail. Take care, Mike

  • if i no have GINGER POWDER? then?

  • My favorite couscous dish! Though really you need to steam the couscous proper, and not use the directions on the box, especially not the "microwave instructions"...

  • OH this looks so yummie. I've just printed out a copy for my recipe book. Looking forward to trying the water trick to see if it works for me as I sob like a baby chopping onions.

  • That looks amazing! Definitely on my to do list!

    Love the pot

    Thanks!

    Pam

  • Thanks for this recipe! Looks so yummy!! Can I just use regular pot to cook chicken and couscous seperate? I do not have such steaming pot.

  • @Dimanta absolutely! just follow the instructions on how to cook couscous (in the couscous box) and use a separate pot to cool the chicken (and another separate pot to cook the caramelized onions).

  • @cookingwithalia where can we buy the pot?

  • @ISLAMIQEDUCATION you can find it at amazon and ebay or any moroccan stores in US

  • why i can not see all your clips????i subscribe your chanel .it is because i am from germany

  • @houiamarocc Yes, Germany blocks videos because they have some music rule (even if I bought the copyrights of the music). You can see my videos in ifood.tv but they are posted a bit later (they eventually make it there).

  • @houiamarocc I am from Holland and i sometimes have the same problem but so far everything goes well.

  • That looks amazing!

  • nice one,

just a really important thing, when you first add the salt and water to the couscous, mix it well utill it dries completely out, otherwise it would turn out very sticky and a paste like, and that is the worst thing that could happen to your couscous. :)

  • finally i can watch your videos again... i couldn´t watch the last videos because of the music :)

  • Looks Good, Bye the way my GF is Moroccan. have to ask her to make this for me .. yum yum
