how have i olny just found you today?!?!?! your recipes look incredible! i am now subscribed and currently going through so many of your past vidoes. :D
Waaauwww I always said I don't like couscous but now I am changing my mind .... Gonna try this ... I am Arubian and my boyfriend is Marocan so need to learn this to surprise him ... hhaaa Thank you for sharing !
Would this dish still taste ok if i didn't add raisens, almonds, safron and orange blossom water?. Safron is pricey and i don't really like the taste of the others in meals. The dish looks amazing though :)
Hi Alia, hope you are well. When you get a chance please go to the StoveTopHero site and read the blog, Cam explains the voting problem and solution in his "growing pains" piece. You are still in the #1 slot with 131 votes, but there are 2 contestants behind you with 113 and 103, so keep swimming! So sorry, but I am just now getting to sending your t-shirt off in the mail. Take care, Mike
YUM! shokran for this, its my favourite couscous dish :P my mums moroccan friend gave us a huge container of this and it was so good i ate it for breakfast lunch and dinner. will definitely be making it for my family! xxx
My favorite couscous dish! Though really you need to steam the couscous proper, and not use the directions on the box, especially not the "microwave instructions"...
OH this looks so yummie. I've just printed out a copy for my recipe book. Looking forward to trying the water trick to see if it works for me as I sob like a baby chopping onions.
@Dimanta absolutely! just follow the instructions on how to cook couscous (in the couscous box) and use a separate pot to cool the chicken (and another separate pot to cook the caramelized onions).
Eggs and couscous?? Really??! We decorate l7am tfaya with eggs and almonds but we never serve couscous with eggs. And I'm from Fes and grew up in Rabat.....
@houiamarocc Yes, Germany blocks videos because they have some music rule (even if I bought the copyrights of the music). You can see my videos in ifood.tv but they are posted a bit later (they eventually make it there).
just a really important thing, when you first add the salt and water to the couscous, mix it well utill it dries completely out, otherwise it would turn out very sticky and a paste like, and that is the worst thing that could happen to your couscous. :)
