  • Thanks so Much! My DVD was edited, so I did not see half of the edited parts. Hope to see more gems like this, soon.

  • @Litomberboum - well I did have a few more, but someone panicked me into removing them.... wish I didn't know.... so some more NC from old recordings will creep back onto YT

  • @BaroqueJazzPlays Yep, I've noticed a number of my favorite videos dissapearing into the gloamin'. 50 % of them were vintage stuff. Is someone monitoring YouTube and weeding out the pre 1930s stuff to give way to comparatively "modern" stuff like say "I don't want to be rude but ......" That is supposed to get some laughs hein? You know what? Download free youtube downloader and get your favorites onto your hdd. Who knows when your favorites may be removed by a prowling prunes and prism.

  • @Litomberboum ‘Is someone monitoring YouTube and weeding out the pre 1930s’ – not that they are picking on vintage plays, but I have had a DMCA against NC play and a friendly warning about having every episode of Mapp & Lucia uploaded being a ‘NO, NO’ as far as copyright goes.… I do have a back up YT channel for when this one goes the boot.... and it will in time.... I can download and then upload from that channel...

  • Bingo Little! :0

Ahem . . . anyway, I just saw this in a theater and it was hilaaarious. Brilliant play!

  • What great taste and class - thanks for uploading such a gem as this --

  • @1488bill - great cast and a wonderful, funny and insulting script - theatre produces some real gems and this is one of them. You should look up Penelope Keith and Paul Eddington - they have both done some fantastic work.... if you enoyed this also watch 'private lives'

  • Thanks Baroque JazzPlays for recommending this play. I absolutely love Penelope Keith and Paul Eddington. I loved them as Margo and Jerry in The Good Life.

  • @liebtiff - Seen Hay Fever last year at the Rose Theatre , Kingston with Celia Imrie - she was very good but it would have been nicer if I had seen it 15 years ago with Penelope Keith, she is Judith Bliss to me.

  • What a brilliant cast!

  • @SureFineWhatever I know, Penelope Keith & Patricia Hodge - perfect. Seen a number of the stage version, they were good but not a mark on this...

  • @BaroqueJazzPlays Thank you for taking the time to upload these, I'm a fan of Penelope Keith and Noel Coward, so they are a real treat! I wish Penelope Keith and Patricia Hodge were in something together again.

  • @SureFineWhatever - should be some more Noel Coward coming soon once I have finished the next batch of baroque music...

  • Thank you so much.

I thought I'd NEVER get a chance to see this.

    Margo & Jerry!!!

  • @mastmedia It’s a wonderful play, saw it again in Kingston’s ‘rose theatre’ this year – but there’s no one like Penelope Keithin...
