My wife and I went to a local protestant church on mother's day not too long ago, the pastor said the catastrophy happened in Burma was a wrath from God for the government taking babies from Christian families and putting them in Buddhist monasteries raising them as monks. He showed the percentage of non-christians living in these countries. He only had one short sentence there about helping the people there.
