Religion trys to hide it because it is threatening to a society and many people find it very hard to sallow. They need to feel vengence for all the bad people and they need a treat at the end for being a good person...My advice is to ignore these rants and threats and be as good a person as you can be for the sake of good things usually coming back around.

No it doesn't seem logical to me, he creates humans who are susceptible to making errors & gives them all these fallible characteristics to contend with, all during one short lifespan, then he roasts them forever if they make the 'wrong' choices in life. Common sense tells us there is not really going to be any hell fire, but I suppose if someone's been conditioned to fear such an event from an early age, then common sense won't be of much use to them.

Remember that as long as people shall follow what Allah has revealed in the correct sense (without mixing falsehood with it e.t.c) and with the right intention they shall become dominant over all other people.
