He even made three centuries in tests against India aswell. Afridi has also been the most consistent allrounders in cricket today and is in the end year 2011 cricinfo XI squad. True, anyone can play T20 but Afridi is one of the top wicket takers in the format.

He is a world class bowler and I can understand your point of view of him not having good batting performances recently. This was due to his focus on bowling only. But now he is focusing on his batting aswell. I don't think he lost power, it's just that he won't take so many risks and the opposition know where to position their fielders to get him out.

@panjabiwarrior I would only agree with you on fielding issues in ALL formats. Batting is not an issue anymore in tests except for ODI's. We made a good decision on having Azhar Ali in ODI's but U.Akmal shouldn't keep as he won't bat to the best of his ability. We should include Adnan or Sarfraz for the gloves. The huge problem is Imran Farhat and Shoaib Malik anyway and that Gul is not using yorkers or reverse swing. We should get Cheema in the next game with Junaid to groom him

I wouldn't say England were pathetic, Ajmal and Rehman got the better of them. Gul is Kamzhor and so is Malik. But now the 3rd ODI squad looks fantastic!
