  • Sure it's a 1985? I don't think the silver paint on the panels was continued into 1985, that's maybe a '82 - '84. I *love* those things! Ding dongs like me in high school could only afford 250s, the cool kids had Nighthawk 450s. I'd like to have one now, and I'm 44. Yeah, put the best gasoline you can get in it. What's the cost difference, a buck per fillup?

  • @JetCityTrading Since you mentioned it I did in fact take another look at all my paperwork and from the VIN number that is stamped on the motorcycle, the 10th letter is an F which designates a 1985 vehicle. I too find it weird as the speedo on this 85' tops out...well at 85 haha and from my knowledge, in 1983 the speedometer was changed to 105 top speed. I am guessing that the speedometer must have been replaced when the bike was in its younger years or a few years back

  • I am looking for one of these right now, I don't see them for sale often though :(

  • Dude that is really clean, great find :-D I'm crazy envious of the condition and the price. Have fun, stay safe.

  • @swmiller944 Thank you! It is quite a beauty and so far put well over 500 miles and it still runs as if it were new. I fixed up some of the paint damage and even added a nice Plexifairing 3 Windshield. Hopefully I can make a video soon :)
