So is this place mandatory to progress through the game?
I'm eventually going to play through this...and I'm going to hate going through there because I hate places with high encounter rates, let alone one EVERY step.

Its a hall in a mandatory area but the hall is optional

Oh and the area of "one step fights" is smaller than a screen so Its not that bad
